I think the issue indeed a compatibility issue, because again, I don't get to the region view screen (just black screen for 1-2 seconds, then it disappears to desktop), even with all the plug-ins removed. What could be the issue of a compatibility problem like this, and more importantly, do you have any idea how to fix this issue? EDIT: I think it would be interesting to note as well: before changing all the mods + adding in the NAM, I was able to open the game. All I did is change 2 settings (bit + resolution), maybe that's where the problem occurs? Thank you in advance! -

@rsc204 Thanks for your response once again and I am sorry for keeping you up. Unfortunately it really seems it's not there, just like half of the things that are in your file seems to be missing. All I have is this: I have no other clues where I can find it, because there is nothing that resembles a .txt file. Also the SimCity 4 program shown here is the one I used my 4GB patch for and I have not encountered any problems. Should I try to uninstall Steam/SimCity 4 and try from the beginning to fix this? -

Hello, thanks again for your answer. Again, searching for config-log.txt doesn't give me anything. However, I have received a result for configstore_log. Is that what you are looking for? If so, see the information below. Note: I downloaded the game Sunday morning (14 February), so you can skip to that date. On Sunday morning/afternoon (about 11:00-13:00) I started to encounter this bug. I hope it helps, otherwise, please let me know! EDIT: Deleted every data before 14 February to make things easier -

Hello, thanks for the reply. I have tried finding the MYCOMPUTERNAME-config-log.txt file, but I can't seem to find it. I've tried finding it in the Local Disk, but maybe it's hidden somewhere else? EDIT: I've tried looking for this file in every file in the PC and I do not receive any results. -

Hey thanks for your reply. I think you are already well informed, seeing as you reacted to my post in the Introduction forum, but SimCity_4GB_Patch_V3 zip does not seem to have any impact on the issue. I'll post some data in a few pictures below. Please pardon the language, as Dutch is my native language. I am willing to change them to English if nessasary, to prevent any translation errors. -

@CorinaMarie Thank you for the kind welcoming message and your assistance! Also thank you as well @City_Slider for providing me the information. Unfortunately, this does not appear to have any effect on the issue I am currently dealing with. Any other ideas? EDIT: I am starting to notice that my ask for help caused a flood of messages in the introduction forum here, and I don't think that is what this forum is meant for. To prevent any other messages, is there a possibility to have a conversation in Discord maybe?

I just posted a forum post that I am struggling to open my game, ever since I downloaded the mod. See the forum post here: Could you perhaps provide any support on this matter? Hello everybody, This last Sunday I've been trying to get SimCity 4 Deluxe to run on my PC to enjoy my childhood once again. I downloaded it from Steam and it worked immediately. However, I was recommended to down the NAM 39 to improve the game greatly, but when I downloaded NAM 39 mod (incl. 4GB Patch), I encountered the problem that the game instantly crashes when I open the game. The screen goes black for about 1 to 2 seconds and then I end up back at my desktop. I have tried a lot of things already, such changing the Controller Compiler, re-applying the 4GB patch several times, reinstalling the game multiple times, and turning off the Real Highway Mod, but unfortunately nothing seems to work. I hope someone could reach out to me for support! Thank you in advance for any kind of assistance. If any screenshots or documents have to be applied to find a solution, let me know!

Hello! I just recently started playing again. I've had SimCity 4 on the old school CD back in the early 2000's, but unfortunately I lost the game. So I started tracking the game on Steam and it got on sale last week and started playing! Never been much of a City builder myself, but I hope to revisit my childhood memories (especially my eternal fights with the Financial Advisor)! Nice to meet you all!
