  1. Hi guys and girls, I am trying to transfer my saved cities from my PC to my laptop, should this work simply by copying all the files (inc. plug-ins etc) and putting them in the same on the laptop once the game has been installed? Any help or information would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi guys, I am hoping that someone can help me locate a download that allows the fountains to continue working at night (and also has them light up). I have used this in previous cities on a different computer but cannot remember what the download was or where I got it from! Thanks.

Hmm I don't know what has happened but I've just installed SC4 on my new computer (been using Sim City 4 for years) and when trying to install the EP1 update 2 files from the website [after installing the game update], an error appears saying Old file not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match. I've installed/un-installed the game a few times on my previous computer with no problems so please could someone help me! Game version: 1.1.613.0 (after installing the update - twice) Computer: Dell Inspiron with Windows Vista Thanks.

    PROPER Independence Day style alien attacks! Tidal waves could be interesting to see. Also a zombie disaster would be cool a la 28 Days Later! I've always liked the earthquake disaster but it would be good to see it made a lot more realistic.

  22. For how many BAT's I use, my PC copes quite well with it but it's by no means fast. I just have to be patient and give it five minutes to recover after I've been playing before I even bother trying opening Internet Explorer and anything else!

  23. Problem with unzipping files

    I have had the same problem with a number of files (not just in the modds section) but live in the UK. I have eventually been able to get most of them but after repeated attempts! I have found closing unecessary windows and programs and not disturbing the download (e.g. browsing other parts of the site) seems to help. But if anyone can sort this out I would appreciate it!

    I think they meant they were talking about why they didn't call it Sim City 5, not necessarily that it isn't Sim City 5...
  25. Thanks for that. At least it explains the tacky fair ground and space age shots. I think I'll stick with the art-deco building style thank you very much!
