The incessant whining from the left has already begun. Their blatant hypocrisy disgusts me, they very much deserved to lose. Over the last 12 months, and especially the last two - they got really cocky. Over-confident, cocky and arrogant. The mainstream media, Hollywood celebrities and political talk show pundits all cheerleading for Team Hillary was so disgustingly debilitating to listen to for months on end like that. I don't like Trump, but boy am I glad to see Hillary lose. Unfortunately now we have to hear them constantly whine for four years (possibly eight). They do all of the things they accuse the other side of doing and are blind to their own ignorance and hypocrisy. They've already begun, completely stuck on the popular vote vs. electoral vote narrative. Don't get me wrong, I agree that the electoral college is horribly broken. Yet several elections in the 19th century, and more recently in 2000, showed us that America is perfectly OK with this system being flawed as it is and did not seek to change it then, but suddenly now? Because a bunch of special snowflake SJWs were triggered by the election results? Besides, do you think they'd be complaining if this happened the other way around (Hillary beating Trump via electoral votes with Trump gaining popular vote)? They'd be scoffing at Trump supporters who claimed that the election was "rigged" in this way, not saying a word about the broken electoral college because it worked in their favor. I guarantee you that! They would have gotten what they wanted and that's all that matters to them. Here are some typical complaints on social media I've been seeing lately: "But Hillary won the popular vote by a very narrow margin so I guess not everyone in America is filled with hate! =)" "But the electoral college can refuse to vote Trump in December right?" "Everyone who doesn't agree with my retarded political opinion is a racist, misogynist, sexist, bigot who hates all of humanity and this planet!" "Hate won on the 8th I'm so sad I'm literally crying right now dark days ahead waaaaaaaaah" "We need to abolish the electoral college, sign pointless petitions and protest on the streets because I didn't like the result!" Even my left-leaning friends and family who voted for Hillary, didn't like what she did Tuesday night when it became apparent that she was going to lose the election - running away and hiding like she did, not speaking or making any public appearance whatsoever. They didn't like that at all. The good thing is, now that she has lost spectacularly twice (also to Obama in 2008 primaries) - she's gone. We won't have to see nor listen to her ever again, her reputation and credibility are completely toast. Good riddance. I hope no one takes CNN, Huffington Post and Washington Post seriously ever again but I'm sure they'll have their cult followers, just like Fox News. The anti-Trump protests even further show their hypocrisy. "I just can't believe a racist misogynist bigot like Trump could win, all he and his supporters do is spew hatred and violence!" shouted the protester, followed by a crowd chanting "F*** DONALD TRUMP" behind him as they kicked over trash cans and burned the American flag. Of course, I don't place all democrats and Hillary supporters in that category, just as I don't label all Trump supporters as racists. My Hillary-voting friends and family even spoke out against the actions of these protesters, especially after seeing the burning flag part. And then there's this: I quite dislike Anne Coulter, and have for a long time as she has a bad habit of being highly irrational and a tad arrogant - however, I feel like Bill Maher, the rest of the panel and audience owe her an apology for this one. Not even for doubting her prediction, which is normal - their excessively humiliating reactions towards her. But that's highly unlikely, since that panel and audience all live in their own very thick bubble even more than those they accuse.

True. Tensions will likely ease in the coming weeks, as Black Friday is just around the corner to keep Americans distracted. We'll live, like we always have. None of that "end of the world if the other candidate wins" garbage I hear from both sides every four years is going to ever materialize. I was reminded of Brexit earlier this evening as well. A number of political experts, Michael Moore (despite him hating Trump), and my political science teacher (back in Spring) all predicted Trump's victory as well. Anyway, all the grumps will go back to being comfortably numb as usual, soon enough, as they realize the world isn't ending and the country isn't imploding (at least, not suddenly).

Aaaand the protests have begun, namely in my state, California. Some fires too, in Oakland. There's that "progressive left" doing exactly what they accused the republicans would do if they lost. Glad I ditched that sinking ship of a party five years ago - biggest hypocrites in the world. Apparently the "NotMyPresident" hashtag is already trending. Interesting, since these are the same people who ridiculed right-wingers for using the exact same slogan against Obama in 2008 and 2012. "But it's okay when I do it because I'm right!"

CNN is filling their drawers right now. Social media is exploding. We still don't know for sure, but I'm enjoying the hell out of myself watching them all squirm after months and months of their over-confident, cocky arrogance. It was an interesting evening at work for me and my co-workers, everybody wouldn't stop talking about it.

Now that the third and final presidential debate has concluded, and me being surrounded by Hillary supporters - both IRL and online - I'm seeing a lot of confirmation bias regarding the "winner" of this debate (this is the only one I watched in full). What I saw was fairly evenly-matched, with both candidates slinging lots of mud at each other as is expected. My Facebook feed is filled with "Hillary won the debate" postings, from obvious pro-Hillary people I know had already decided the victor for themselves long before the debate even began (as this is the third time they've parroted those words). It's kind of a yuppie idealist thing, they're the kind of people who keep preaching about the "coming" technological singularity, solar panels, Google/Apple stuff, and ignore the fact that poor people do exist...
