  1. I am willing to start learning C# in order to make this mod for zone brush. Any tips?
  2. I want to make a modification of circle brush tool for zoning to 4x4 cell size. I am new at this, can anyone give me general directions? Thanks!
  3. From my experience, it's not that simple and easy to just draw a 4x4 with rectangle tool, and it feels repetitive to always click and drag. Sometimes there are trees, tiles from other irregular zoned road and terrain, so I need to look closely, am I zoning a 3x4 or 4x5 tiles... With this brush it will always be right, with a lot that is default building zone by the game in one click, no click and dragging or whatsoever.
  4. What size is one default lot in CS? Right, 4x4, and I like to leave one tile free space between two 4x4 zones, for aesthetic reasons and to be able to lay a pedestrian path between. Now, imagine zoning whole city 4x4 with marquee tool with leaving one free tile, and I am not talking about grid lay out city. It is a bit tiresome. I explain my reasoning in the post above. It doesn't enhance the game but the gameplay. As for learning for doing it myself, frankly, I don't have the talent for programming. If it is very different from scripting that I already did some, and I believe it is, I don't think I can do it.
  5. I'll be very grateful if you can do this.
  6. Can someone make a 4x4 tiles brush tool for zoning residential, commercial, industry and offices? Just like other tools for marking zones, but only brush with 4x4 tiles dimension. If not, is it possible for someone with no experience in coding (except some Autohotkey scripting) to do this?
  7. Welcome back, sorta...!

Nice layout, modern, like it. I have one question: will formatting of older posts be like it should be? In the moment is like this: * Network Addon Modd, or the NAM. This mod was first conceived with the discovery of an unfinished road network Maxis left in the game. The talented modding community has taken this and turned it into entirely new road networks, gave us roundabouts, and allows us to create true metropolitan cities with roads to match. This can be found here on the STEX, or at SC4Devotion.If you're interested, here is the "official" NAM Thread with links to the different parts used with NAM and some FAQ's. If any issues come up while using NAM, there is a support thread here. Various NAM Team members frequent the thread and gladly help out. Edit: When I paste it here, it is ok. Here is pic:
  8. I am thinking of buying Simcity 4 from Steam, it's dirt cheap, only 5 euros, but i have a few questions... I have a win 8.1 system, playing Cities: Skylines without a problem. Will Simcity 4 Steam edition run without any troubles? I know that game can crash occasionally... Can i install some mods for it, namely NAM? Is it easy or complicated? Thank you for your time!
