Considering this mod came out almost a year ago.... Wondering if someone can post a fully updated checklist on how to install it, and all applicable mods associated with it... Would be, by far, the most complex mod I've enabled, and I'm dumb. Any help? -
hmm... note the values at the top of the screen as he is laying down some coal/trees. Think that might give us a tip on what game values to modify in order to do the same? Also: The whole video is listed as "debug mode" at the bottom. Would gaining access to this allow modding? Just random thoughts with no basis in actual skill, since I have none.

I hate wasting space, and hate grid cities nearly as much... Is it possible to have a non rectangular ploppable to fill in the holes?

Question for modders, as I'm definitely not one (for this game at least). I know this has been suggested, but I haven't seen it written about in detail yet... It seems to me that most likely, regional maps are most likely on a x/y grid, so it has been for the existence of virtually every game ever with a map. In order to determine a position of a "city", coordinates are set in place somewhere in the regions data. Is it possible to change those coords, and move cities around? Instead of square cities placed far apart on a map, have a coastal strip, or a highway in a valley, both full of cities.... I get the feeling that this will be the stopgap measure to please the masses, at least until some figures out bigger cities 5 years from now.... Any thoughts? Anyone pursuing this approach? Or am I completely off base and EA went off on some weird tangent on mapping?
