Hi BigBear, One thing that could be stopping you from having a space port is the industry quadrupler, or other such mod. If you are using it, the game only seems to count a quarter of the HT jobs you have towards the Space Port, as the mod is creating the rest of the jobs. This translates to needing 100000! HT jobs before you get the space port, as the reward requirement is 25000 HT. The mod only seems to affects Maxis industry lots, so STEX industries aren't affected, and seem to contribute their listed jobs to reward requirements. This is all guesstimations on my part, but I seem to get the space port pretty easily now that I have many STEX industry lots. If you are not using this mod, well I have no idea I just know I was never getting the damn space port either, despite having 50k+ HT jobs in some cities. Despite this problem with reward requirements being weird, I recommend the quadrupler or doubler, as meeting the industry demands gets out of hand fast in my cities, and I like making res and comm areas more then Ind areas.
