disable the info balloons on top of buildings. whenever I zoom out it just makes the city ugly and it is irritating.

Though I'm looking forward to this new game, I agree with Morningstar. I've always seen cities xl as the best city builder out there. Hopefully this time they'll fix the sounds since for me this contributes to making the sim world feel real. And hopefully we'll see trains and ferries this time.

I'm looking for a sound mod - the one created by eaglefmj cannot be downloaded anywhere anymore, I've tried searching.

@Mark_Kochan I'm glad you mentioned cities XL, almost forgot about that game. Just looked into it again....one of my latest maps was NY......I'm def. switching back, even do an upgrade. That game is more mature, diverse and has larger stunning maps.

I restarted Origin, then it worked, played for two hours then received the message : Origin is offline now and I was thrown out of the game. Whoohoo this really adds to my mood to continue playing this game

Same issue here. Tried to play for the first time today this morning and got the exact same message. And there's nothing wrong with my time and date settings.

Once I had one city specialize in Commerce and plopped my Casino there. My Citizens commuted from a nearby city by means of bus and train. My Casino generated up to ~21,000 simoleons a day, while the commerce city was 1/3rd full. I guess Sims like to be in a casino that is surrounded by a fun and exciting area, where you can sleep, eat and shop and do other fun, while not having too many criminals around

No, my experience with this game is becoming more negative by the day. The last few days I had worked hard on several cities but each time my city is destroyed because of rampant disasters, neighbouring cities all of a sudden not processing correctly or not loading at all. This is the dumbest game ever and gives me high blood pressure. This is what I paid 50 euro's for. Because of past experience with Sim Societies etc etc, I will never give my trust again. Like said by most in this topic, if there's going to be a next time I'll wait for at least 1 year to buy it. This way I can manage my own expectations and keep my life as fun as possible
