My reason for doing Subway is technically to prevent future Headache implementing it after the city is oversize (I started to do this system when the city was at its first years, and only expanded it since), the same reason I did the trains (but they came much more later though). -

Actually it is, though there is a (supposedly) satellite village with the harbor and beaches (though there is no freight trains/trucks coming for some reason). The age of the city is over 80 -
Well, I have 40K city which consisted of 4 Parts (V. Large Map): Industrial zone (Located far away from residential and commercial Area, ). the Old city (on a top of a mountain and its slopes) at the skirts of it it has the university, Hi-tech area including advance research center and medical center, and a landing strip. The Old city itself has 1 E. School, 1 H. School, and 1 L. Med Center, library and a museum. it also has a very big commercial area in the center and at the slopes of the mountain toward the industrial zone. The New city is in the valley below (well, not exactly a valley since there is no mountain on the other side) it also has a E. School and E. School, as-well L. Med. Center, and it has big commercial area. After a gap there is the Int. airport and its airport city which is basically a lot of trade centers and little further from there there is a water treatment facility, everything is funded as necessary. Between the old and the new city there is a corridor of residential zone and the firefighters landing strip, the new city has the Police Duplex and the old city has few small police stations and firefighters station. the industrial zone has a large police station and a small firefighter station, and the airport city got non. All of the parts are connected with Avenues, subways/elevated trains (which is most used at the old city toward the ind. zone), and railroad. All Residential zones are hi density, and also most of the Commercial zones (and of course the hi-tech zones). Everything is watered and powered. Now I have 3 problems: Commute time, Environment, and the age of the population. A lot of buildings get deserted because of Com. time, I don't know how to solve this. Environment, I have few plazas and parks, but it still full red at the polls. And the age problem is that most of my population is over 50, I want to attract younger sims. below you have few pictures from the city, general view of course. the old city http://imageshack.us/f/22/termanseoldcity.png/ the new city http://imageshack.us/f/18/termansenewcity.png/ RCI http://imageshack.us/f/705/teramanserci.png/ Subway http://imageshack.us/f/855/teramansemetro.png/ Thank you in advance BTW: I have NAM activated

Tel-Aviv New Central Bus Station. Out of Place, extremely large (too large for this city) and complex, half of this station is deserted (And it did used as the "Red Light Quarter" of TA, without the prestige), the whole area (and the station) is a home for a lot of immigrants (Mainly from Sudan, S. Sudan, Eritrea, and other Sub Sahara states, also expelled persons from the Arab Sector), that the IBP (Border Guards) are patrolling there, a very unpleasant place to be at, (I've been there couple of time, and also at this area at late night, nothing happened, but there are a lot of stories,,,). Holyland Park, a birth of non-pure interest, on the one of the highest tops of south Jerusalem, there is a complex of residential buildings (the tallest being 32 floors), completely brutal and doesn't blend with the architecture of it's surroundings, nor of the city itself (which is basically low buildings due to restrictions concerned to the buildings heights because of the historical sites within the city), it is so bold that you can see it easily from every point from this area, the buildings itself aren't that bad, but it doesn't fits the city, and actually built-over on a hotel (and this city needs hotel rooms desperately). But both cities are great, maybe I'll post a picture one day of these cities.

yeah, the 60$ Price-tag is completely unreasonable to me (or in euros which is worse)... And no terraforming? that is a disappointment (so its limiting me to be able to do only European/American flat city?) And I've been to the Official forums, and by my experience, they tend to be over-dramatic (and not only at this game)

I didn't played CXL, so it says nothing to me

Hi, I'm new here But not for SimCity I have SC4 Deluxe and also had SC 3K and I liked them A lot Do you recomend this game? (I trust U more than the Official Forums). *and few questions: is every one here from the US or there are some from the EU/ME timezone (Since I am from this area timezone)? Do this game has an option to change topography on the region level (So If I'll want to recreat Jerusalm/my hometown I won't have to use a 3rd party tool)?
