Hi I was recently playing SimCity on my laptop and the game crashed, so I closed the game and waited a couple of hours and launched the game again. I clicked the launch icon but the game does not launch. I tried SimCity Recovery and nothing happened, and I attempted an uninstall to do a clean reinstallation and every time I try to uninstall it a message pops up saying "SimCity/SimCity.exe is still open" I tried reinstalling but nothing happens. Could anybody please help?

Hello this is my 3rd city journal I have ever done, my other two were SimCity 4 so lets hope this works for the best. I picked the region of Edgewater Bay for this journal mainly because it has two great works site and the cities are not clustered in one area. I decided to put my first city in what was known as McKenzie Point, the area protruded into the water which would allow for connections for ferries a cruises. The area also had rail and highway connections which would allow for great expansion and at any one time I could bring in rail tracks all the way into the heart of the future city to expand. The first thing I did was check the natural resources and see where they were located. The only resource found was coal which was in the center of the property. This was an ideal locations since the wind was moving towards the right side of the property I could place my Industrial area in the upper right and my residential and commercial districts on the rest of the map without having to worry about traffic and air pollution. The map showing were the Coal deposits were at, this great location for it plus the wind direction would allow for what hopefully would amount to a great city. After scouting out the water table and if there were any other resources, not having found none I decided to go with a loop design for the city. with all the roads or the majority being loops. The outer loop would be the Seaside Avenue with main street going down the middle of the city all the way to the Waterfront. There at the end of Main Street I will place a casino and some tourist attractions hopefully the Expo Center and a casino. But for now I place a gambling house just to start things off. The Gambling house at the intersection of Seaside and Main. On the left side of the property I would place the Residential zones and some Commercial zones but the commercial district and the majority of businesses would be at the waterfront at the end of Main Street. As I began laying the streets for my city I started placing the residential zones at the upper left of the property along with some commercial strips to start out the city. The first phase of zoning in Mckenzie Point After zoning about 8 blocks of residential the demand for residential and commercial went sky high, industrial demand went up a little bit but not by much. I focused on residential zoning as much as I could keeping in mind were I was going to place my factories and "downtown." After a couple of days I placed a grade school and continued zoning more and more. After placing my first fire station I got the fireworks challenge and made an easy $50k plus the a $4k income from taxes I was doing pretty well. I placed a garbage dump, sewage dump pipe and a wind power plant that I would then replace with a coal power plant. McKenzie Point after a week into its existence, at this time a lot of mom and pop stores appeared as well as medium wealth residents in several parts of the city. In a few short weeks my city had 2,500 people living in it and achieved small city status, my advisor then said to get 2,500 people more and we could upgrade city hall. Until then I continued zoning while holding a $4000 income with sometimes reaching a peak of $5500 hourly. The current zoning layout of McKenzie point with many stores and factories complaining about not enough workers which was a situation which I really had to take care of. Here are some more screenies, i'll try to update this daily at least once a day and i'll soon start other cities to try to work out some of the worker related issues with some of my factories and stores. The Grade School (Point Elementary) The Industrial district in the middle of the loop on Main street is the coal mine, I pace the circular road mainly to know were the coal deposits were as to not build over them by accident. The Neighborhood of Seaside with multiple stores opening up along the beach front. A shot of the Wind Power Plant with the industrial district in the background. The Great Cracker Mill fire which was the first industrial fire to occur within McKenzie Point or as should I say now Point Place since the renaming was passed. 23 Sims died in this horrendous fire which wiped out the cracker mill, and two regular factories. The only thing good about this was that the city smelled like crackers for several days. LOL That's it for this post, like I said i'll try to update this daily at least once a day and if any of you have any suggestions or tips of what I should do please go right ahead.

I am interested, I want to participate in a region game in which people don't leave or build cities for the purpose of crime spreading. -
Just in today Osea released pictures from another one of their cities, Concord. Concord is Approx. 256 Miles from St. Hewlett and is a busy city, with over 40,000 citizens and a large downtown the city sees thousands of people pass through it every day. The Suburbs of Concord Downtown Concord Concord Industry Recently Concord has been plagued with strikes especially from the CUTF (Concord United Teacher Federation) and the Hospitals, as seen below at the Concord General Hospital. and about 10am today a 6 alarm fire erupted in the Concord Business park, firefighters responded and had the fire under control within the hour. Here are some shots of the devastation.

By 2012 St. Hewlett has expanded in ways almost unimaginable, the population exceeded 30,000 in less than 4 months into the new year. The city council approved many reforms in the city and approved funds for public works. In February of 2012 the city erected a statue honoring their mayor, people flocked in herds to see the statue. By April of 2012 new lands had been zoned for public housing and the city began expanding southward, but with expansion always comes the problem of commute time for those living in the new areas of St. Hewlett. So in May the city council put aside 700K for an expressway and 300K for a commuter rail line linking St. Hewlett and the industrial sector. In the picture above you can see the new expressway dubbed OSH-100E and to the lower right of the picture the commuter rail line. Meanwhile in St. Hewlett things are going well as there is almost no crimes and fire, below in the picture taken lies the home of Fire Engine 78 and Hook Ladder 67 in the middle of downtown. With no calls of fires in 3 months the crew has been downsized. To the north farmers expanded their farms discovering fertile lands next to the sweet water bay, over 6 farms were expanded in the time span of 2 weeks. But nothing new has happened in the Industrial sector, pretty much same ol' same ol' except for the addition of the commuter rail line to the south. The city council is currently voting on connecting the commuter line to the ORC Rail Network to increase shipping and bring tourists into the city. And that will be all for today, enjoy

In the Simworld (well mine) OSEA is an isolated region/country who doesnt share much about their cities but now in recent developments media from OSEA has released info on one of it's up and coming cities which was created and incorporated in 1879. Port St. Hewlett Founded:1774 Incorporated into Osea/Sim nation:1879 Population:25,679 Exports: Agriculture, Consumer goods Port St. Hewlett is an up and coming city on the eastern coast of Osea. The city is a port city with direct access to sea shipping and commerce, currently the city is led By Mayor John Gonzales who won last years election by 5 sim votes. St. Hewlett is divided into 3 sectors, City of St. Hewlett, St. Hewlett Industrial Park, and St. Hewlett Agricultural Sector. Downtown St. Hewlett St. Hewlett Railyards in the industrial sector St. Hewlett Port St. Hewlett Industrial Sector St. Hewlett Agricultural Park Main St, St. Hewlett St. Hewlett Since St. Hewlett is an up and coming city in less than 8 months the city has expanded greatly. Hey recently i reinstalled simcity 4 and it installed as the uk version with left hand driving. I modified the language hexadecimal file so the cars would drive on the right hand side like it outlines in the modding section i believe. But now the adviser messages are messed up, they come out saying "TEXT_NOT_IN_Langauge" and a whole bunch of them just pop up in a couple seconds. Could anybody please help me with this? It really has become a nuisance in the last couple of days.
