i really want to try this one out, but my old disc-copy of Sim City does not run on my Win7 (at least i did not find he necessary ppatches to make it run), why some time ago i bought Sim City 4 Deluxe on Steam Sale. Which sadly does not run with Sim Mars. I copied Sim Mars (that had installed itself in the no longer existant folders from the CD-Installation, maybe Info from outdated registry Keys) into the appropriate steam SC4 Deluxe Folder. I later manually edited all registry keys that refer to the old Sim City path to refer to the Steam Path. i won't get the CD Version of the game to run, but i'll be more than happy to help you set Sim Mars up for Steam, if i can.
