  1. Windows 8 and SimCity?

    Did anyone manage to render a region on Windows 8? SC4 crashes almost immediately after selecting the Hong Kong map or after the first few tiles on the Oahu map available on the site... Except that, gameplay seems ok, even with different plugins installed. I start the game with: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Maxis\SimCity 4 Deluxe\Apps\SimCity 4.exe" -cpucount:1 -intro:off -w -customresolution:enabled -r1024x768x32 and it's running on an AMD Opteron 180 - Asus A8R32-MVP Deluxe - 4 GB RAM - GeForce 8600GT 512MB
