The MAPP - the first official download of 2007 - is finally here!! Are trips to the local mall, or the local zoo and aquarium the only entertainment that you can provide for your Sims? Have your Sims every wanted for something more to do on a long, summer's weekend than just go to the beach? Well now you too can provide the fun and entertainment that your Sims so desperately deserve. Introducing the Modular Amusement Park Pack (MAPP) presented by RJM Designs. This set is made up of amusement park rides, roller coasters, midway entertainment and more. Currently there are a few amusement park BATs available on the STEX, but this pack draws everything together. So dive right in and create that "dream park" that you have always dreamt of, or re-create your favorite amusement park from the memories of your childhood. The MAPP . . . making your Sims' entertainment dreams a reality! * NOTE - The MAPP uses the ped-malls that are included in Network Addon Mod to tie all of our custom BATs together. See How to build an Amusement Park in the readme file for instructions.* This pack includes many classic amusement park rides that you would normally associate with any amusement park. Without the Essentials pack, this pack will not function properly. Please delete any and all prior versions of all MAPP lots (including the construction lot) prior to installation to avoid conflicts. dependencies: Porkie Props Vol. 1 https://www.simtropolis.com/STEX/index.cfm?id=11421 BSC PEG Texture Pack Vol. 01 - or - BSC Textures Mega Pack

** Editted 10-31-2005 - It was brought to my attention that a few props didn't render correctly. First, please delete the directory C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity Deluxe 4\Plugins\Aldara6166\Prop Pack #1. Then, re-download and re-install the prop pack to correct the problem. Thanks. ** This is the first pack in a series of prop packs that will be used on several of my future STEX releases. This Prop Pack includes the following props: Dumpster and Storage building Single Dumpster 2 Dumpsters (side-by-side) Emergency Back-up Generator Street-side Office Complex Sign Construction Dumpster Wooden Pallet Stack of Wooden Pallets 4-barrels on a Wooden Pallet Single Barrel Please do not include this prop pack with any of your lots / BATs. Link users back to this download as a dependency. Thanks and enjoy! ** Editted 3-7-2023 - A ZIP version was added as a download option. This version can be unzipped and added to the user Plugins folder rather than running the installer and having it placed in the Program Files folder. No changes were made to the actual contents of the files, so no re-download is necessary if a previous installation is functioning adequately. Thanks. ** -Staff Edit

This is the next official BAT release from RJM Designs. RJM Intermodal Shipping Depot (Simdaq: ISD) is a full service rail freight station empowering your region's industrial sector. Whether you need to ship thinga-mabobs or doohickey bob-jiggers, the ISD will help you move your SimNation into the future. The ISD is Transit enabled, both for passenger / freight rail to the rear of the lot and the entrance on the front side of the lot. The ISD has two unique firsts for RJM Designs. This is the first of many BATs that we have added a custom query sound to our custom UI. Also, at different times of the day not only will there be different containers seemingly going in and out of the depot but there will also be containers showing up just on the crane, just on the dock, on both and on neither. The containers have been grouped in to a .DAT file and included in this installation. A special thanks goes out to hdorriker for providing us with his Intermodal Shipping Containers .SC4Model and .GMAX files and allowing us to mod those files and incorporate them in to this BAT. Remember to visit the RJM Design BATs thread to see what other BATs are upcoming for release. Also, for any problems, bugs or general questions with this or other BATs by RJM Design please visit the thread - Click here to access the thread Remember to support all Lot/BAT creators by commenting and rating their creations. *************************** Dependencies: BSC Mega Props - JES Vol01 Gizmo - Vehicle Props (DMD Public Works Center ver. 1.5 - Not needed) CSX MEGA Props - Vol04 Texture Pack 02 by RJM Designs RJM_Intermodal_Props.dat (included) Edit: 02.09.2018 Uupdated dependency links by Tyberius06 (Also I found 3 missing props which take place at the top left corner of the lot on the parking lot. Hoewever, they are not appearing on the attached pictures either, so I can't tell what they should be.) 7. The MAPP has been released and you've downloaded it. You just tried it out for the first time and you think to yourself "Man, this park really kicks butt!" Well, prove it!! Post pictures of those amusement parks that you have created with the MAPP. (Please limit this thread to amusement parks made using the MAPP) For those of you not familiar with posting images here at Simtropolis, here is a quick tutorial courtesy of T Wrecks. Here's a quick how-to on using ImageShack to post thumbnails: - Go to www.imageshack.us. - Click "Browse" to browse to a file on your HD you want to upload. - Click on "Host it!" and wait a while - Once your image is uploaded, you will see a page with a preview of your image and some link codes. - Scroll down a bit until you see the code at the bottom, "direct link to image". Copy it by highlighting it (double-click into the text field where it's displayed) and pressing [Ctrl]+[C]. - Now go to your reply on Simtropolis. Click the "Add/edit" image icon. A new window called "Image properties" will pop up. - This window has three tabs. Go to the second tab "link". - Copy the link to the picture into the "URL" text field by clicking into the field and pressing [Ctrl]+[V]. This should copy the Imageshack link into the text field. - Now go back to the first tab, "Image info". - Click into the topmost text field, "Image selection". Press [Ctrl]+[V] once again. - Now to get a thumbnail, edit the URL by adding a ".th" between the name and the extension of the file. Let's take an example. If your image has the URL "www.imageshack.us/MyImage.jpg", change it to "www.imageshack.us/MyImage.th.jpg". The ".th" tells ImageShack to use the same image, but in thumbnail format. - Click "ok". Now you should have a thumbnail preview of your image inside your reply, and when people click on that thumbnail, they will get the full-size image, which they can also open in a new window or browser tab. One more thing: Please use any tool (there are multi-language freeware tools like XNView or IrfanView available on the net if you don't have PaintShop or PhotoShop) to convert your images to JPG format before you post them. If you adjust the compression vs. quality ratio to a quality level of ~ 60%, you should get nice pictures with reasonable file sizes. Please consult the documentation and the help forums of these tools if you are not sure how to do that.

  11. Anduin Valley Revisited

Very nice John...not only do you touch our hearts but you touch our souls as well (some more than others which is awesome! ) Great use of American Hardware Supply...let me see now, how made that great looking BAT...Oh yeah...ME!! Anyway...it looks great my friend...now, if only you had an amusement park in your CJ...that would look great... Great work my friend...keep em comin!!
  12. MAPP -- Show Us Them Parks!

Looks great...I really like you included many non-MAPP buildings to give a "main street" feel to the park...we are looking, or at least it was suggested, that the first add-on include shops and restaurants and such... Great job...anyone else have some pics for us?

  14. MAPP -- Show Us Them Parks!

Thanks -M- ...I just looked at that myself... Best recommendation is to open an account with a free image hosting service like Photobucket or Imageshack and host your pics there...they provide links you can just copy and use when you hit the Insert Image button in your reply...that way when the 6-month mark comes up the pics save on Simtropolis won't disappear...
  15. MAPP -- Show Us Them Parks!

@lrfox - Not sure what is going on but none of your pics are showing up...please check your message again and edit them as appropriate...
  16. MAPP -- Show Us Them Parks!

You can download The Gimp...free graphics program... Click Here and then upload some pics for us!!
  17. Modular Amusement Park Pack Roller Coasters

Thanks to everyone for their downloading and rating our product. For you MAC users out there, the file cannot be seperated using FileJuicer. However, .ZIP files are in the process of being uploaded to the Pegasus web site at www.simpeg.com. There is currently an issue with uploading over there however, and as soon as it is fixed the files will be available. Watch the MAPP thread for more information as it becomes available. =)
  18. Anduin Valley Revisited

John, Another bang-up job...are you going to be adding some trails to the last farm, the one with the roads that make a "T" in front of the mansion of a farm house...just figured you would since this is how you typically put the finishing touches on... I like this area...definitely a little community that wants to grow up someday...unlike the hickville that I moved to 2 months ago...maybe I'll have to buy one of them mansions with the up front bonus money my publisher is gonna give me for "The Golden Chimaera." Pick me out a nice one overlooking some water if you can...I like to sit in solitude in a small boat and fish... Another great update...keep em comin...
  19. Anduin Valley Revisited

Another great update John my friend...I really like the high-class (and high-price) housing area... One thing that bothers me though...the parking for the trucking company...some of it is across the railroad tracks...hate to see Johnny walking across the tracks to work and *SPLAT* Johnny ends up as fertilizer 50 miles up the tracks when the train finally slows down... Sorry for being graphic..guess that is something I do best... Great work...keep em comin...
  20. Vester, Do you know if those robots are props or are they part of the model? I really like some of these Japanese creations but I'm not keen on the robots...I'd use some of the stuff if I could remove those robots in LE... Jason
  21. City of EDMONTON

TheJerseyDevil73, First, I must appologize...how is it you have gone 60+ pages and I've not read this CJ yet? I haven't had much time with concentrating on the MAPP for the better part of the last year but now that we are in Beta Testing I'm "trying to get out more"... I spent most of my day today at work going through your first 35 or so pages...will save the other 30 or so for tomorrow at work when I'm even slower than today... I like what I've seen so far...it is truly amazing what you have done here...you are definitely deserving of the Trixies you have gotten so far (and then some! ) I might just have to run over to that thread right now and throw in a nomination or two for you (along with some of the other people I read. ) You have done great work...I look forward to reading more as it comes and catching up on what I've missed so far...keep em comin...
  22. Anduin Valley Revisited

John, My friend...it has been too long since I've visited...the MAPP has taken most of my online time and I need to get out more now that we are in testing and winding down to the initial release. I am trying to catch up on so much that I've missed...so many CJ's have gone way past where I ever expected them to...so I must keep my responses brief so I can move on to view more...I know I'm going to have at least 25-50 pages or so of yours to catch up on! Let me just say though my friend...your skills have grown tremendously...everything here looks great...and, you still find ways to use my creations AND advertise them as well... Great work my friend...truly great work...keep em comin...
