I have this happening too. Here is why: Everyone leaving your city is turning to the left to get on the highway. So sims are all lining up to get into the one lane of traffic that takes them where they want to go. And as you can see, you have some sims who wait to crowd into that left lane and block the other two through-lanes on your ring road, causing a back up. In a twisted way, this is pretty realistic: there is always that idiot who tries to squeeze in and causes everyone else behind to slow or stop. The real problem here is that there is, in effect, just one freaking lane to get out of your city because Maxis insists on not allowing us to manage our own connections in and out of our cities. It is bad planning on their part. And there is nothing you can do, except force more people to take transit out of your city.

RHW, I know is very tricky, but I am haing so much trouble getting 6 and 8 lanes to connect through to an adjacent city. I can manage the 4 lane RHW, but I am stumped with bigger roads. The tutorial in the RHW mod is too brief. I need a tutorial for dummies. Is there someone here who can point me to some help (i did check SC4 Devotion too, but I couldn't find the help I needed) Thanks

Hi My CS (as opposed to CSS and CSSS) demand is always off the charts. I am looking for a plop highrise that would satisfy this demand and would aesthetically fit in my downtown business district....I know that i could zone for CS but generally the buildings don't offer much more than 300 workers. I wonder if I can satidfy this demand, how my residential building would be affected in the suburbs

Thank you. I have. But i must be a real dolt because i still can't make these diagonals work.... Is it just me or is this nearly impossible to actually do?

I have searched for tutorials on both here and SC4Devotion, all to no avail. I can't figure out how to use the curved and diagonal puzzle pieces for both the 6-lane and 8-lane RHW to make it connect correctly with the straight versions. Could someone point out a tutorial or directions where to find the key to making this work?

... and forget to back up your cities... For the second time in my SimCity building life, I have the big blue hole of death appear after saving a city. It was the lynchpin of my region and now I am all depressed. If i had taken the time to save, I wouldn't be crying all over my keyboard right now...

Hi.. i have been looking for JRJ_(name of trees go here) file... I am getting brown boxes. I used to get the trees but when I switched to a new computer, I must have lost the file....I looked on SC4devotion and here for the trees but to no avail. can anyone help?

I used to have the Avenue Stack in my NAM, at least a version before the latest release, but now I can't seem to find it. Am I dreaming the avenue stack? Is it still around or hidden within the NAM and I just can't find it?

I tried to upload a photo but because i am a dop, i can't seem tHere is a photo of what i am trying too get the photo to attach to the mail. But to explain perhaps more clearly? I am trying to connect 2 RHWs (one going East/West and another going North/South) using MIS lanes. I have used an MIS lane to connect my southbound RHW to my eastbound RHW-- but only because there are no other roads to cross. But I can't seem to connect a westbound RHW using MIS with the northbound RHW because my MIS would have to cross over or under both RHWs. meanwhile i will work on trying to figure out how to get my computer to find my photos of my saved cities in the photo album and upload into this message. thank you again for your help so far.

Hi: I am trying to connect two RHWs (one going North/South and another going East/West) using MIS branches that either go over or under the opposing main RHW lanes, so that SIMs can go to downtown and return from downtown back to their homes. I have tried one-way bridges but SIMs abandon my entire RHW system when i build this way. Just for aesthetic purposes, I don't want to use a traffic roundabout or a 4-way stop because I want the main lanes of my two RHWs to thread throughway traffic unencumbered by stoplights and have the MIS lanes handle the branching-off traffic on toward the opposing RHW. I realize you can connect MIS to, say an avenue or road, but i cant seem to get both the North/South lanes of my RHW to connect seamlessly to the East/West lanes of my other RHW. Any expert help, supplemented with your own pictures would be appreciated.
