Finally, a respectable field to represent your University. A reworking and upgrade from my last college field, Red Hill should be big and bold enough to place on a Div. I campus. Of course, if this were a real field, the parking lot would probably take up most of your city, so I scaled it back a bit. Just leave room for the tailgaters (but kick Corso out)! Not based off of any one place in particular. This is about as big a field as I feel comfortable making right now. I'll start experimenting with other building techniques so that I can go bigger, though. For now, though...enjoy it! No Dependencies Size: 12x11 Cost: $44000 to plop Appears under landmarks 60 value for Power, 20 value for Water No pollution of any kind GOOOOOOO...team? -
What's it gonna be?

And I know that it does, but I find my rise-and-build style much easier to work with and bend around, since I can select what I want, when I want without re-sizing. But you're right.

All too many of those upper-class McMansion suburbs around here now. Ugly at its finest. -
Yeah, that's what I'm doing. What usually happens is that I do everything but that first, so by the time I get around to it, the file is huge, and any little thing I build takes forever to get into place. So I just slap something up and get rid of it. The side that you see right now isn't going to get much more glamorous, it isn't the main building. The other side will have a lot of detail.

Last update before I settle in. > The stand on the north end is going to come all the way around the field, to about the same spot on the south side. It'll continue on the east side, but I'll add a second deck, and some press buildings. West stand is pretty much done, just need to polish and fill in some gaps.

Work on Red Hill is coming along good. I'm working on the facades for the stands right now, which is tough for me, since I hate/really stink at doing buildings. Usually I just cheat around it and make supports under the stands, but since these have tunnels, I have to make it look like there's something inside. Got a nice red stucco texture to work with now, though.

Work continues on Red Hill Stadium, which is going to be basically a larger, more refined update of a yuck older field I did. > The stand on the left side is going to be a large, half-horseshoe looking set, only on that sideline. The rest of the field will be surrounded by a slightly smaller bowl. All the press and team buildings will be on the right side of the field.

A small jogging circuit and sports field area for your town park, school, campus, or standalone area. Designed slightly after the one in my own town, it's low-key enough to fit in just about anywhere, and as part of a larger complex. Appears under Landmarks Size: 6x5 Dependencies: None Cost: $2000 Cost per month: $15 Pollution: None Wealth: Neutral/none Water and Power: None I realize that there aren't lines on the field or on the track. That's completely intentional, and the style that I was going for. Please don't tell me that I forgot it or need it. Sorry! 02/26/2020 Staff Edit: Added File Descriptor. -CF -
Wow, a CJ from me? A sprawling rural region, based a little bit on German Bavaria, Japan, and the Mississippi regions that I'll be bringing to you for a few weeks. Most of the cities are of a similar style, just of varying small sizes, each with its own landmarks, usually surrounded by forests and farmland. I'm creating a new city every two days or so, so this should move by pretty quickly. It's a tour-style CJ, without a real storyline. Just an overhead look at things. With each new city, I'll tell a little bit about the area, the population, and the trends. The first city on the trip is Winddale!

Tomorrow will probably be the first full update, with Brummet Bay.

Echo Plains is back! I don't have a full tour yet, but I can give you a glimpse of what's to come. Here's some pics from still unfinished Westland City, Brummet Bay, and Brummet Town...

There aren't enough buildings like that.

Aw-haw, darn. I totally forgot about the Trixies this year. Gotta work harder so that I can get nominated next time!

I'm wrapping up work on the outfield for Risemdale Park; did it first this time so that I wouldn't have lag when I was assembling the smaller pieces. There's not much left to do; just slap together the main bowl, which is easy, and take care of lights, ads, and props. >

I've finished the left field corner; a three-tier party deck with picnic tables, cafe tables, and a few sections of seating. A big overhang roof hooks around the foul pole and over the future garage space between the deck and the grandstand. All coming good.
