yeah, and i did install it first accidentally to the program files one, but when i looked there nothing was present. i already got rid of all my plugins. One thing i found out, though, was that the game was launching from someplace that it wasn't supposed to launch. so when i reinstalled it, the first launch, everything was gone. then i launch again and they all come back, so i used disk 1 and played from it instead of a shortcut to disk 2. now it will keep coming up just fine. im hoping it stays this way. and i'm keeping a close eye on it. sorry if i don't make any sense, i just have a trial and error sort of mind. thanks for your help

all the files with zs are gone, the game is only base mode, but when i make some lots, snow is still on them. when i looked in the lot editor, most of the overlays were replaced with just snow. i thought about going through and just deleting all of the overlays separately, but they wont leave on some. is there anyway i can get overlay mods for all of the lots?

So, i downloaded The Peg's Snow Mod 2, and i didn't want the snow anylonger, so i uninstalled it from my computer. well, now whenever i see the lots popping up, their terrain is still white snow. i uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, put on a new terrain mod, but it still is there, i think i really messed up this time...

I just bought Cities xl platinum and installed it correctly. I set it at medium settings, but when I go onto any map, the map is flat. there are squares that are elevated more than others, but the land has no curvature to it. the trees are even suspended in midair, probably where the mountains are supposed to be. PLEASE HELP!
