Hmmm I think switching to software mod solved the grass mixing with the other stuff but now props like trees and cars and phone booths aren't showing up on the lots, lol that migh be cause the city detail isn't set to high yet

okay I have windows XP, I have directx 9.0 installed, and my graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200, I havn't tried the hardware and software modes yet, I'll try that.

tchaos713- how do you figure out all that stuff in the middle about your computer?, I don't know much about computers . But mods I have include the latest version of NAM, columbus terrain mod, a transportation map mod, simoleon RH, plop mod RH, bridge height mod, more riot mod, less abandonment mod, that's it I think. Hey guys I'm a really old member here and I havn't posted here forever cause a long time ago i was hving issues with simcity 4 so I quit. A year later a couple of days ago I decided to play simcity 4 cause I forgot about the problem. Then after installing both simcity 4 and simcity 4 rush hour, the problem occured again. The problem- after building roads or something or plopping a building down the smoke or the unconstructed road peice gets messed up, the ground will merge into the smoke effect or if there's a nuke explosion, the burnt up ground will turn to normal grass ifyou move over here, but to the burnt up ground if you move over there. Sometimes things like building cranes'll disappear too. I'll try posting pictures if someone could help please help me!!!!!! sorry, I had to link it instead of posting the pictures directly on here.
