That's why it looks so much alike.

Ooh. It's huge indeed! Actually I don't have any clue what it could be Can't wait to see the roof! -Ernst

@TZLNCTV. Thank you! @Skyscraper. Yup many tables and chairs. That's because I didn't knew what to place else . The trees are from a program called Forest lite. It's created by Itoo software. Google it and you will find. It works with the particle system very useful, because it won't extend your poly count @Amthaak. Thanks!!! @Paulvmontfort. Dankjewel!!! I'm glad you liked it. @zahrul3. I'm glad you like it. Thanks for commenting. Progress on the building. Like 90% of all work is done in 3dsMAX. North View East View South View West View -Ernst

To get previews of your work you should go to the tab where the hammer is. Then you should go to B.A.T. --> Parameters to set a LOD. And then you can click on the tab which says preview. Choose an angle and the program will start rendering a picture of your building. Always use this method if you're going to show us a picture in your BAT thread. If you don't and you show a viewport view then it can't be judged because colors and textures will be displayed differently. The preview render is also the same render you will get in the game so if it doesn't look good. Then that's your reference to get it better. I hope this helps you a bit. -Ernst

I like the progress. Can't wait to see all the details added on the building. -Ernst

*Blows dust off* I started working on a building and I thought why not share it with the community. Maybe someone can say something to improve? Now the stone texture isn't realy done but I intend to get back on that later when I can get a nice view of the overall building. Do you like it so far? -Ernst

3ds Max - Troubleshooting & General Discussion
00.7 Cheeses replied to Jasoncw's topic in SC4 BAT & Lot Workshop
Hi all. Sorry for disturbing again. I still have my problem with the light rigs. I tried several things described by some known BATters 1. I turned the TB2 handler 180 degrees 2. I merged it in a new scene letting everything out. 3. I fumbled with Mr Sun & something called sky. 4. I resetted everything except the building. but nothing happened. The shadow is always pointing to one edge of the screen, depending on how you turn the TB2 handler Here are some pics of the situation. -Ernst -
Wow overloaded with comments supremec; Thanks, my friend. paulvmontfort; Thanks paul. I tried it but it didn't worked. I'm now trying to merge it in a new scene. emperordaniel; Me too harishna; Well I will try merging it in a new scene. I already resetted the cameras. Thanks for your compliment DragonAnime; Thanks, I hope it will fly to the STEX one time Frex_Ceafux; Thanks. I hope you like this update too. I arrayed the floors ten times. Like it? _Marsh_; Thanks, you may call me Ernst the next time Well lately I have more on my head then just go BATting. Exams are moving on and there are lots of other things. Not to mention the bug which is untill today unsolvable. But I still make progress. The textures are made to real life but the didn't came out well I will darken some textures up and change some textures too. I hope you like it so far. -Ernst

It's a good start. I'm very curious about the shops at the bottom of the building. Oh and you should intrude the roof a bit. Now it's so boxy -Ernst -
