  1. Heres a regional rail map I did quickly of my current region, Metropolis. The regional rail is based off the German system where very few stops are made. Ill make the metrorail map whenever I figure out my spaghetti mess downtown...
  2. NAM General Discussion Thread

Thanks for your help guys. Once I deleted the extra files, I had no problems getting all the puzzle pieces. I had no idea that the main .dat compiled everything; it was kinda vaguely worded in the readme.
  3. NAM General Discussion Thread

I am still missing puzzle pieces even after I looked through all my plugin folders and removed anything that I thought might interfere with the NAM/GLR. I have made sure that the structure of my NAM plugin folder is as follows: C:\...Modfiles\ ...NetworkAddonMod.dat ...NAM_Automata.dat ...NAM_Avenue_Turning_Lane.dat ...NAM_Traffic.dat ...\Modfiles ......AAX1_Traffic_Lights.dat ......GLR-Textures 5 is 4.dat ......GLR-Textures.dat ......Intersection_Avenue4Way_Paths.dat ......NAM Cosmetic.dat ......NAM FSH.dat ......Ped Cosmetic.dat ......ZGLR_base_Textures.dat ......ZGLR_new_nam_rul_fixed.dat ......ZFLR_overlay_textures.dat Is this the correct installation? or do I need to rearrange how the folder is organised to make sure I get all the puzzle pieces? Thanks
  4. arashi: The metro lines themselves are just vectors and the zones are all polygons. If you looked at the map horizontally in Fireworks you would see about 100 layers of different elements. The nice thing about the way I made it, is that I can infanately scale it without a loss of quality. The beaches icons are a vector trace of a swimming sign I found on the internet. Heres a larger version: Larger Version
  5. I used Macromedia Fireworks for my map. I have a more updated version of it, but I dont feel like uploading it. Not much has changed. I think Im going to make a map of my metro/tram/regional rail for my current city, but I should be doing my work, so that will have to wait.
  6. Heres a transport map I did randomly, though its not for a region I have made yet. I was thinking that I might one day make a region based off of the metro lines, but we'll see. Ive been working on my current region for 2yrs!

  8. Otranto - European City of Culture

Really cool city. Though Im not in a city like that right now, it does remind me of Europe...sad Ill be leaving here in two months. U spreekt Nederlands? Ik spreek Duits echter ik will Nederlands leren. Zij zijn so gelijkend, dat het simpel toe leren zoll. (Sorry for any grammar/word mistakes, its not that close to German)
  9. NAM General Discussion Thread

I have the latest version of the NAM/GLR and whatnot, and for some reason I have all of the puzzle pieces except the on slope pieces, which are pretty much the most useful ones for me right now. I also seem to be missing some of the Pedmall pieces and turning lane textures. It doesnt help as well that when I tried to place a GLR piece, it caused the game to crash... I made sure that the GLR files are in a seperate folder within the NAM so that there were no conflicts, but Im not quite sure why I have some puzzle pieces and not the others. Any ideas?

Incredible lot, as always. So good you have inspired me to actually rate a lot! Keep up the good work, even though your lots clog up my menus! :)
  11. Great update. I was recently in Innsbruck in Oktober, and though I cant say everything looks the same as I remember it...but as it is a simulation, you have done a really good job! Btw, where did you get that cable-stayed bridge crossing the avenue? Its really cool. Is it transit enabled and all that good stuff? Anyways, keep up the good work!
