I'm a returning player after YEARS away. Trying to understand MODS. Downloaded the Network addon (NAM). Result: program still loaded brought up my region with its cities but when I tried to open a city, the program closed after about 30 seconds. No error messages, just closed back to the EA desktop. Once I emptied my "plug-in" folder, problem went away. It would seem that there is some other utility program that needs to be run BEFORE installing the NAM. Looking for help. Thanks.

I seem to have messed something up. Program opens, my New York Cities appear on the region screen, but when I try to open one, it crashes after about 30 seconds. Program was running fine until I downloaded the extra transportation add-on. I previously had NO add-on's. UPDATE: Turned out I had correctly installed the plug-in correctly. I just hadn't read the instructions that pointed out it takes several minutes to load the first time.

My problem was that I started with a tutorial city so I didn't get the upfront cash.
