Horticulture Questions and general Gardening
joshriddle replied to Easy Bakes's topic in General Off-Topic
Now the python was incredible. As the rest of the snakes. I was thinking there were too many amphibians in there (turtles mainly) And perhaps here is an animal for everyone. You all most likely know her. -
@joshriddle(2): Not bad, too! Peg's Stream Kit is a bit outdated though, but you really try to sue PW - it will add a lot to your pics (and decrease your work speed ...) What is PW ED: Never mind I found out. Well, I kinda wiped out that region a few days ago.. I'll use it i my ew one.

Horticulture Questions and general Gardening
joshriddle replied to Easy Bakes's topic in General Off-Topic
I'm done with monocots and am almost done with dicots. I'm onto classifying plants. But this is just for flowering plants. Next is nonflowering plats. After that is classification. After that is famous botanists. I've got a long way to go. Used spell checker. My N key is almost broken. You have to tap it twice to get it to work. -
I love color. You have such a hard avatar to come up with a caption for!

Horticulture Questions and general Gardening

MOLA wasn't all that great to me. I cannot believe I just decided to read this, doing a school science project on plants. Right now I am in the middle of Flowering plants, still studying dicots. -
I suspected that. Thanks though.

You are really starting to get the hang of custom content I see. Also where did you get those sidewalks? I would like to give them a try...

I thought this would be a good topic for a poll, question is, simply what web browser do you use? If you don't know what a web browser is, answer Internet Explorer. Just kidding.. At the time I am using Firefox. Fast, good looking, not so boring. I recently stepped up to FF from IE because of that. Edit: There is now a poll discussing usage of search engine as well. Have fun!

I tried Chrome one last time. Feels faster, but still not convinced to use it as my default browser. Thus, I am still Firefox.

The SimCity 5 Thread (Formerly "Is SimCity 5 Ever Coming Out?").
joshriddle replied to xterra09's topic in City-Building Games
However, the chances of another iteration are higher it will be made than the changes that it won't. In this case, it's obviously higher because we have several successful predecessors in the simcity series. Right.. but SCS came after SC4 which messed up the Simcity series big time. But still, knowing how greedy for money EA is, you never know what will come next. Further, I'm not sure how EA could pump interest into SC4 without actually creating another deluxe version that completey upgrades the game or releasing a brand new one. The only great changes I've ever seen done to SC4 was when all the talented players started to modd the game. I think I was proved wrong there. You are most likely right. Really no matter what, EA isn't going to grab the attention of the general public unless they release an SC5. -
Nice use of custom content.

I don't find fault in any of the graphics, most of the graphic failures are caused by the user. As for bugs though, sometimes they get so bad that I get enraged at Maxis sometimes for not getting rid of them. -

When they do release a new version of Simcity it may not even be called Simcity 5.quote> Might be a good point. But that isn't to say that they are going to make an SC5. As a matter of fact, nobody knows what is going to happen. However I still doubt that they are actually going to put an SC5 on the market. I feel that they are trying to pump interest back into SC4. -
Commercial Wealth/Customers, Population Income, High-tech Slow Dev. Questions
joshriddle replied to Moneywell's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
First of all, the issue with your low wealth commercial is called "Dilapidation". Usually if desirability or other factors are undesirable, the building will look like it was cooked over a barbecue. Try checking out the desirability data view to see if desirability is high enough for your CS buildings. Customer volume increases depending on (strangely) the traffic on the road it is facing. So if it says that customers are low, traffic is probably low to moderate on the road or street that the building faces. On very busy avenues, that get a good 900-1000 vehicles customer volume would increase. And really I-HT likes to live near residental zones. And yes, it does take awhile for them to go up unless conditions are absolutely perfect. So be patient in that field. You tearing out the industry is part of it, but I don't quite know what the rest of it would be though. -
