  10. The United Cities*4th Birthday and Retirement!*

Replies @Schriefer: Thanks! @Vitor13: Thanks! @UndercoverNinja12: Thanks! @vinlabsc3k: Thanks! And a happy new year to you too! @Benedict: Woo-Hoo! Yeah! For today's update, this will be part 1 of a two-part update of a significant expansion of the Westport Underground. Currently, branch 1 of Line 2 ends with a short stub station at Waterfront Drive(Left station in the photo). The project entitles that that station would be deleted, a new station built next to Highway 24, the area to be redeveloped, and the line rerouted to follow the Bedford Ave corridor, with two new stations, one of which would intersect Line 4 at it's existing station. From there, this lays the foundation for future expansion\ (Ignore the abandoned buildings; i'll take care of that later) The new station is complete and the old one and it's line abandoned; construction of the new line begins (Whoops, forgot to turn off zones.....) New section completed, although there is still a lot of work to do.... Further south, you can see the site of the intersecting station with Line 4. Next time, we'll take a tour of the whole finished line, as well as a updated map of the Westport Underground! Hope you enjoyed this update, and see you next time!

  14. The United Cities*4th Birthday and Retirement!*

Replies @Titanicbluff: Thanks! @wasso38: In real-life, that ship was the Lusitania Many of you may remember this place, it has been showcased ever since the very beginning of this CJ: Yes, that's right folks! The Catcomm Soccer Stadium! And it needs a replacement, as it's old, sometimes packed, and doesn't have good appeal. But first, let's say bye-bye! after the last game is over.... And this is it! Who's ready for the first game? GOOOOOAAAAALLLLL! (Actually, this is another-angle view) Hope you enjoyed this update, have a happy new year, and see you all next time!
  15. Happy holidays to everyone!

  16. The United Cities*4th Birthday and Retirement!*

Replies @sargeantcm: Hmmm if you don't mind, a picture of what your suggestion is could help.... @Titanicbluff: Thanks! @UnderCoverNinja12: Thanks! @Map Guy: I could try that, but again space is kinda at a premium in this section of the region.... @mattmontgomer16: Thanks! @kelistmac: In the long-term, i'll look into changing that... @Benedict: Thanks! And I have more updates on the way! If I have bored a lot of you out, I must apologize, but lately I have distracted by SimCity 2013, SimCity 3000, and (Yes, that's correct) watching Colbert Nation. Today though, I have an update. This will kind of be an extension of the previous update, in that we will head northbound from the interchange and see what lies beyond, on a section known as the Mackham Expressway For a while, the expressway borders the oceanside, with spectacular views Another 2 miles north and it curves to the NW. This section of the island is mainly agricultural, but does anyone want to stop at the corner store for a drink? We arrive at the interchange with Highway 22, where the expressway continues to the naval base. Previously, this is where 22 curved from westbound to northbound, but that was changed with the expressway construction Hope you enjoyed this update, happy holidays to everyone on ST, and see you next time!
  17. Ben's Top Ten +10

  19. The United Cities*4th Birthday and Retirement!*

Replies @UnderCoverNinja12: Thanks! @simcityplayer15: I'll look into those in the near future.... So the update that I promised 3 weeks ago, is now here! You are looking at the UC's newest Highway interchange. Here, Hwy 455 splits off from Municipal Highway 81 and forms a half-beltway around Boston. Originally, this was going to be a simple trumpet, but there were weaving issues with the avenue and I wanted something better looking than a generic interchange(Also, i designed it like this to get all the connections I wanted) Be sure to click for full resolution! Hope you enjoyed this update, and see you next time!
  20. Taking the Cambridge Bypass

Replies @Schulmanator: Thanks! @UnderCoverNinja12: Thanks! @Huston: Thanks! So sorry for not updating either of my city journals for a long time; RL and distraction by SimCity 3000 and 2013 have been preventing me from playing SC4 lately, but tonight I have a new update to share with you. In this update, we will be taking the Cambridge Bypass, so named because it allows one to access points south of the town without going through the town itself(It has some traffic problems) by use of an interchange south of the town. We start out at the A4, with a partial interchange. The highway starts here and heads south Upon exiting farmland, we meet a curved section of highway and the undeveloped land beyond... After curving to the East, we pass through a tunnel, upon exiting, there are spectacular views of the valley below: We curve southeast, and come up on a raised embankment where the highway heads up to the next POI: Which is the only exit with a small rural road leading to a lookout tower. Later on, a service station may be built here:' Curving southwest once again, we come up on the second tunnel, which leads to..... The second interchange with the A4, where the highway ends... Panorama of the full highway next time! Hope you enjoyed this update, and see you next time!
  21. Well tomorrow for the first time in years, there could be snow in my hometown of Fresno!

  22. What Music are you listening to right now?--The Second Verse

  23. Failing at geography across the pond

Wow this is just so sad that people don't know simple things such as other states within their own country, compared to how I learned in my Freshman Geography class to memorize the locations of all the countries of the world in addition to the states.....
  24. The United Cities*4th Birthday and Retirement!*

Replies @UndercoverNinja12: The first one is Memorial Drive Station, while the GLR station is Thurgburn Station. Well, with the bridge complete, who doesn't want to see the final product! Make sure to click the image to see full resolution! Note that I will be out of town from Thursday to Saturday Night; a new update will be posted then... Hope you enjoyed this update, and see you next time!
  25. Show us your most Scenic Highways!
