  8. Polsdovian History (1945-...) Well,I think that you still know that Polsdovia is a Totalitarian Socialist country. In fact, after WW2,when was liberated by the Soviets,it became part of USSR. The black period arrived in 1958,when the new secretary of Communist party Andrius Meřov became the head of state in Polsdovia. Polsdovia became a very patriotic nation and the Slavs were the only ethnicity allowed in Polsdovia. So,ethnic cleansing, murders and deportations started against the Non-Slavs. These atrocities finished in 1982,when, a group of Polsdovian and Finnish students (Finnish people is a large minority in Polsdovia) attacked the palace of the government and killed Meřov with other Army Generals. Those boys were killed by the Police. Fortunately, with the new head of state Jelszin, the atrocities finished. So,from 1945 to 1982, Polsdovia was one of richest Soviet Republics, the cities became large industrial centers and there was work for everyone, the people was happy. But in 80's ,during the fall of Communist,Polsdovia was left alone by the other Soviet Republics and resisted the crisis, again alone. So,now that Polsdovia is ,with North Korea, the only Soviet Socialist state,is a big friend of North Korea and is one of poorest nations of the world. But people can use computers, mobile phones...(contrary of North Korea)but how I said, there's a lot of poorness and only few people can hope for a better future than it has.

  12. Merry Christmas to everyone!

Merry Christmas to everyone! Merry Christmas! Or,how they say in San José, 'Feliz Navidad!' ! Or,much better, Buon Natale,'cause I'm from Italy. In San José,Christmas is one of most popular holidays of the year. The towns and the village are decorated with lots of lights and the "christmas feeling" is everywhere. Everyone,at midnight between the 24th and the 25th of Dicember, goes to the mass and then(the next morning) starts celebrating Christmas. The Xmas celebrations last 6 days, until the New Year's Eve,that we'll see later... so... San Joséan greetings by Simarco!
