There's an history,of a great man,

called Narcos' Artemides,that

helped by the glory of the gods,

founded a small village,that will

become a great and glorious city,

that will fight and win wars against

strong peoples,that will conquer

great lands...Artemis

<<Artemides took few farmers, his wife,Neridea, and his son Telemachus, and started building a new village. With the help of the farmers and of the glory of the gods,Artemides built a temple to Apollo near the river Pariftos...>>

<<...After 120 days other farmers arrived in Artemis, and Artemides decided to build new and larger houses, and also a library. Artemis had to be a place of culture...>>

<<...A new road was built. It connected Artemis with the sea,the plains and the mountains...>>

Sehem

Mosaic:

37510781.jpg

Sehem is a city in the high Guizcogna desert. It's located at more than 900 meters on the sea level. There are at least 30.000 inhabitants, most of them Jews. In fact, the name "Sehem" has jewish origins. Sehem is the main center of the Jewish community in San José. In fact, there's located the "Great Synagogue of the Desert",a big Synagogue, that first was a church, where thousands of pilgrims go there to pray every day. The style how the city is built, that reminds the Latin-American one,but isn't it, is the typical style of San José's jewish cities.

Islas de los Templios Archipelago

The Islas de los Templios is the most ancient populated place in San José. In fact, when people came there to settle San José,found 3 Islands with 1 temple for each one,a sign of civilization. So,the islands were settled and now there's a little inhabited archipelago. 3770 people live there, and the main industry is the turism. There's also the agricolture in the island of Atinaya (The 35% of the island is coltivated) and there are olive trees in Arboles Sagrados island.

So,now some pics ;D

Hi,guys, did you liked my last entry?Yes?Did you rated and put a +1?No?Go,do it,I will wait you!Done?Ok!

Today I will show you a small village,Azucado,a village grown on farming and agricolture. Azucado is located in the Pararos river valley, the most fertile valley of San José. Since ancient times,Azucado lived isolated from the rest of San José,and grew alone. But today,is one of richest places in San José!

Grotas del Mar

Grotas del Mar(Sea's Caves) is a city on Southern coast of San José,south of Calvazara. There are around 50.000 inhabitants in the zone. This city is based on my hometown, the italian town of Grottammare(that means the same name of Grotas d.M.),that is smaller (16.000 people). It doesn't totally look like Grottammare, but there are lot of similiarities: for exaple, you'll see the old town with a main pedestrian street in Grotas, and there's also one in Grottammare (in fact, the main pedestrian street is a typical part of an Adriatic italian town). Or,there are in Grotas some commieblocks with a small church near those ones, sorrounded by small houses and trees. Well in Grottammare is the same thing, but the zone is larger(I can't forget it,in that zone of Grottammare lives my girlfriend :P)...but,I wont to explain everything...let's see it!

Merry Christmas to everyone!

Merry Christmas! Or,how they say in San José, 'Feliz Navidad!' ! Or,much better, Buon Natale,'cause I'm from Italy.

In San José,Christmas is one of most popular holidays of the year. The towns and the village are decorated with lots of lights and the "christmas feeling" is everywhere. Everyone,at midnight between the 24th and the 25th of Dicember, goes to the mass and then(the next morning) starts celebrating Christmas. The Xmas celebrations last 6 days, until the New Year's Eve,that we'll see later... so... San Joséan greetings by Simarco!

Casteddu is the southernmost region of San José. It's located in San José Island and is populated by 300.000 people, the 85% of them is Italian. The first settlement that we will see is Capu Barrisanu, located in the coastal part of Casteddu, that consists in the settlements of Capu Barrisanu (15.000 inh.),Villa Cupra (5 inh.) and Capu Palermu (600 inh.). You should know that Capu Barrisanu is part of the "Duchy of Palermu",that is one of the 3 subdivisions of Casteddu(if you look at the flag you can read the names of the 3 duchys). But,let's see Capu Barrisanu...

San José Islands Territories

Territorios Insulares de San José

Capital: Calvazara

Official Language(s): Spanish,Italian(spoken in all Casteddu region, southern San José)

Government:Federal Democratic Republic

Head of State:Victor Bachurrios

Indipendence: from Genova: 1650

Currency: Llera Sanjosejita (LLS)

Located in the heart of Mediterranean Sea,near Sardinia Island, there's San José. San José consists in a group of islands, the largest is San José Island. This group of islands was settled by a catholic population in 100 a.c. When they arrived the Islands were like a desert. So,they settled it and decided to call their "new" land San José,because they arrived there on March, the 19th,the day of San Joseph/José. This first country was called Free Kingdom of San José.

otonivekovicdolazakhrva.jpg

So San José main island was settled. There was a Kingdom,an army,a people,but... There wasn't an official flag. People understood that a real free state should have a flag. So the first flag of San José was created. The main symbol is the "Estrella del Mar" (star of the sea),that is the national symbol of San José,then there are two colors:Red and Yellow.

Red means the blood of San José people, that suffered to escape from Spain. Yellow is the sun. So,"San José" feeling was stronger. San José inhabitants could say that they were from the Free Kingdom of San José!

thefirst.png

During Genoan occupation the flag stayed so. For Sanjoseans the Genoan occupation was very hard. They wanted a free nation,an indipendent nation. So,in 1649 a bloody civil war started. The main battles were fought in Calvazara,Barrìz and Monte Taburrìos. Lot of Sanjoseans died. Finally, after a bloody year of war,in 1650,San José got Indipendence.

But the government changed, now san José was a Principate. The Gaztrota Family was at the head of the state. The flag changed, now there was a red lion. But Sanjoseans were happy with the Gaztrotas, until 1943 they administered very well San José.

sanjos2.png

During Gaztrota government,San José knew a large process of urbanization. New schools were also opened, and in 1899 the 70% of Sanjoseans was lettered.

The crysis for Gaztrota arrived in early 40's of 1900. The new head of state, Pablo Moreno de Santa Marìa Gaztrota IV,was too old and the state wasn't governed well. So,in 1943,the Socialist Miguel Celvarrozo did a golpe and Pablo Moreno d.S.M. Gaztrota went to Italy. But with the San Fermìn treaty, the co-governors of Miguel Celvarrozo were again the Gaztrotas. The flag changed again,a red star was put on the Gaztrota coat of arms. New res.areas were built at the periphery of the cities. San José grew and grew up. From 4millions in 1945,in 1990 there were 14millions people there.

sanjos3.png

During Celvarrozo-era the socialism feeling was great,so lot of manifests were put on the walls of the cities of San José...

408d5ca8c5b5e314fe39a48.jpg

sovial.jpg

So,with the fall of the communism the Socialist San José fell (1992) and San José became a Federal Republic.

Since 1993,San José's economy grew a lot and lots of multinational companies decided to put their seats there. The flag returned with the "Estrella del Mar"...

Other things...? Discover them watching the rest of the CJ... ! :)
