  1. HK Gold Horizon Mall

Thank you so much for this lot, I was getting a little tired of how nothing tall ever grew on Co or Cs 1x1 zones.
  2. Michael Epic

Is it a very common growable? I think it'd be a little weird to have one or more of these every few blocks.
  3. Police HQ re-maked

This is still just a pre-made Maxis building. The STEX is intended for original work.
  4. Police HQ

Not to hate on it, but it just looks like a pre-made Maxis building, just with two extra parking garages. :/
  5. MAXIMUM SECURITY FENCE

Does it function as a road? Or just eye candy?
  6. Question about files

I was just wondering, is it a bad thing to keep the ReadMe files and BAT images in the plugins folder? When I first started using plugins, I kept them in there because I didn't know any better, and it worked fine. But the game has been quitting on me recently, so I was wondering if keeping those files would assist in that.
  7. How do I build a tram network?

I need help using the pieces. The fact that they're not draggable really throws me off. =P
  8. This isn't exactly a bug, but I think it sort of qualifies as technical issues/support, seeing as I have no idea what to do. Could you guys just tell me how to build a tram/GLR network?
  9. Traffic Issues and other bugs

Okay, I think I have it figured out. Thanks for your help!

Which leads to... I have a subfolder in the NAM folder that's called "Traffic Controller" though. It's 29 .dat files in it.quote> I'm assuming you installed the Mac version of the NAM, and it sounds like you placed the entire set of files into your plugins. When using the Mac version, you need to read through the installation procedures and delete the files you do not want to use leaving those that you do. Simply placing the whole NAM folder in your plugins will certainly cause problems or unexpected results as the game will use the last one loaded (usually in alphabetical order) in each folder. For example, of those 29 files in the Traffic Controller folder, you should only keep one. The same is true for other optional items like the Data View and Automata files. Check the documentation for directions. Hope this helps... quote> I did download the mac version, but I didn't know I had to be specific in file choosing. I was just reading through the "ReadMe" file that came in the folder, but it doesn't tell me which specific files I need to be choosy with... it looks confusing, that's all I can deduce from it. =P In the traffic controller file, I've got some files that look identical to each other, but they have "easy", "medium", and "hard" at the end of them. I run all of my cities on the Easy difficulty, so should I scrap the ones that say "medium" and "hard"? And what are the "perfect path finding" files? Or the "traffic_plugin_z_high" and such files? I think a major problem that I'm having is that the mac version that I downloaded doesn't come with an installer, just a "readme" that doesn't answer many questions at all. I'm assuming that since I live in the U.S. and bought the game in the U.S. that I should scrap the "left hand version plugins" folder.

  12. Information area: I'm running Sim City 4: Rush Hour on an iMac with a [2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor] with [4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 memory]. I'll put up more information if you guys need it. Basically, my traffic information is messed up. When I go to Data Views and click Traffic, it tells me that almost all of my roads, streets, avenues, and highways are in the green, and there is absolutely no traffic volume on them. However, my transit stations (bus stops, subway stops, etc) are all RED, even though when I hover over them with the query tool (that measures commuters), they should be in the green. The other problem is that it tells me that some streets are in RED congestion, but when I use the traffic query tool, it tells me that there are no commuters. I'm not sure if any of that made sense, so I attached seven images of it. OTHER ISSUE: I downloaded "Downtown High School-Victory" and "Downtown Athletic Club-Victory" and moved the entire folder into my Plugins folder. However, when I plop them, there's no building. All of the other aspects of the building are there, but no actual building, such as walls and doors. Does anyone know what's wrong? Images:
