I can't find the tax thing. Where is it in the cohort file? -
Long time since we took a look at this issue, and so I'd like to bring it to the table again. With the knowledge we have now, what prevents us from putting together an unemployment mod? We seem to have the following information: a) workforce population (it's in the city halls mod) b) number of jobs (I+C) So what keeps us from being able to put that all on a graph? Ideas, anyone?

OK, here are the transportation mods I am using: Plugin_DM_TransitSupermod_RoadTopMT_LoCapacity_v2_0 Plugin_DM_TransitSupermod_TrafficSim_PathfindingBETTER_v2_0 Transit_Bugfix_RH_ExpandedOptions Transit_supp_1_2_1 Should I not use the last two, and only use the first two? Also, there is hardly any issue with congestion at any of my stations, whether it be bus or subway. To me, there seems to be no logical explanation for why they don't get off of the subway right in front of their job. Yet, they get on the subway at that same stop to go home that night, and get off at the proper subway station nearest their home, which is also an avenue subway/bus stop. That's why I think there's a problem with getting off the avenue stops during the morning commute. Everything works the way you'd expect during the evening commute. -

Can anyone else get sims to get off the subway using an avenue subway/bus roadtop stop? How about during the morning commute? how about the evening commute? i just wonder if i'm the only one with this problem. -

These avenue s/b stops I am referring to are all at intersections. As I think about it more, I am coming to this conclusion: For some reason, sims are unable to get off the subway on an avenue subway/bus stop during the morning commute, regardless of what type of area they are near (r/c/i). Thoughts? -
Any ideas when this will be fixed? Any ideas why people can't get off the subway at these stops? Here's what I find interesting about these stops: I have two avenue subway/bus stops: one in the residential area, and one in the commercial/industrial area. There are several road subway/bus stops in the com/ind area as well. To get to work, a sim would take the closest subway, but instead of getting off at the avenue s/b right in front of their job, they will get off at the closest road s/b and then take the bus to the avenue s/b in front of their job. So it would lead me to think that they can't get off the subway at the avenue s/b. BUT WAIT, HERE'S WHERE IT GETS STRANGE... This sim, when going home, will jump on the avenue subway in front of their job, and then get off at the avenue s/b nearest their house! So they can get off the avenue subway at their house, but they can't get off it in the com/ind area? How come?

So this mod fixes the issue of people not being able to leave avenue subway stations? Because I have some weird commute paths, where people take the subway and get off at the nearest road or street subway station, then take the bus to their destination (located on an avenue) even though there is an avenue subway/bus station right next to their destination. This fixes something like that? -

Those settings are dealing primarily with performance and appearance based on Visual Effects. So, there are pros and cons to both. It all depends on your computer. -
Hi all, My name is Tye, and I'm from Brooklyn, NY. I have played every version of SimCity since the first game on PC. I love the game, and I will purchase every version that comes out, even whatever expansion packs they release for it. It's just a great game. I'm not real gung-ho about the regions, so I won't be creating a Brooklyn region, and I doubt I'd use one if it were made. Anyhow, I hang out here on Simtropolis quite a bit, and I love reading things that make me think a bit deeper (or simpler) about the game! Cheers!

This was actually my original request, to know how many people were unemployed. But I must say that I like the new graph, and I appreciate the work put into it. Here's something though: I have read that only half the population makes up the workforce. Can we get a graph that shows the workforce population vs. the # of jobs. That way, we can tell when we are nearing the unemployment level, therefore requiring the creation of more jobs. And again, I love the mod! Great work!
