Just chage the values in the Editor.

Actually it's a problem with the lot, it a appears to have a R$$$ occupancy of 3 in the Ilive Reader.

Mickebears Istrinian BATs - Getting ready to a CJ

You've been busy, I really love all the buildings you are making, you have now enough to make a village! lucky you to have all those textures to use in BAT. I think those roof ones are still usable, just a little more photoshoping, the tutorial on how to calibrate photoshop for gmax might be useful to make those textures the way you want them. Keep up the excellent work. -
I'll be expecting so see some more pics soon, maybe this will make me finish some of my projects, if you need any special BAT tell me, I might be able to help you.

Mickebears Istrinian BATs - Getting ready to a CJ

Great, thanks for the texture. Your models are coming along pretty well, but as you've mentioned, apart from S. Martino, the roofs need some work; as you can see, texturing is the most important part of the BATing, you can make a simple box and with good textures make it a masterpiece (see my Montejo mansion? it was my first BAT and it was really badly modelled, but as I had very good textures it came out kinda well [i'm also thinking of making a new version]), or you can have a great realistic and complex model but without good textures it wont get to the level; I'd recomend to change a tad the color of the roof, just decrease a little the saturarion, and maybe add a slight gradient, that might do the trick. -

Theese are really great BAt's, I really love the textures which, by the way, would you mind to share with us? Anyways, great job. Looking forward to their release. -
I must confess that, despite my screen name, I don't like Debussy's music.

barnatom Hey, thanks, I'd love to see your new mexican city, the last one was great, I've been busy to make big advances on my city but I'll try to post soon. supertbone Thanks for the coment, about the BATs tha cathedral has already been done, and chich

Very nice to hear this. I feel flattered, I'm currently working on more BATs and should fit in any mexican town. Great start so far, the terraforming is great, but not realistic if you are doing a south-east city (maya region) since it is very flat in that region, if you like it hilly use a very high terrain to simulate the altiplanicie like mexico city and sorroundings or use this terrain and a desert texture to simulate places like los Cabos. If you want to keep it the way it is, go ahead, after all it's your city. Any ways this should be great! I'll be looking forward to updates. P.D: I don't know if this is a coincidence but what a better day to post this thread than Diecis

tchntm43: The loosing textures problem is very common in gmax, I get it all the time in grouped objects aswell that in ungrouped ones, the solution that usually works for me is saving, exiting the program and reloading, sometimes it doesn't work is very random, you can also try merging your objects into a clean scene; avoid merging cameras and default lights which might be currupted. Hope this help solving your problem.

Real Highway (RHW) - Development and Support

Well, I really like the intersection you are planning, I don't know in other places but in my city they are very similar, stay with your current design.- 3,919 Replies

Great design you got there, very nicely planed. About the base I think you should keep it a solid block, I don't think you should make a large base for it, keep it straight. Maybe some arches in the lobby? that might work.
-
Then that might be the solution to your texturing problems, you can also try to aplly a common UVW mapping, your model is excellent but it lookis too cartoonish with that plain cherry red.

Date: 8/29/2005 4:57:44 PM Author: sims_h4te_me Hey super BATters! My cities need a little sprucing up. I don't need a mondo spiring towers, My town is missing something simple like a train station. Little ones that are not rural. It seems most of the ones on the STEX are just remodeled from the game. quote> Pardon me? there are plenty of cool stations in STEX and in japanese sites, look at marrast's for instance

This is so impressive, so many memories... I never modded my SC3k, I tried on the BAApp but I totally sucked on it. I never downloaded anything, I really dont know why, I mean, never got curious about entering sc3k custom content pages, neither I knew about the existance of them. I would have liked to know back then...

Kwakelaar and crazyarchitect: Thanks For your comments, Glad you're liking my CJ. Currently I'm working on the Calle Ancha del Bazar (Market Broadway), also known as El paseo de las Bonitas (The Pretty ladies' walkway) which was the Comercial center of the city during the early 1900's. On this historical avenue rise some of the most beautiful french stlye buildings in the city, my favourites are the Ritter and Bock building and the Siglo XIX Hardware Company. There's still much work to do on this avenue and I hope I can finnish Batting it soon.

Date: 8/27/2005 5:08:46 PM Author: sjh123 could there be a way made to transition it from to quote> I'd like to see that too, I guess it's not that hard since they are textures already made, but I could be wrong since I don't know a thing about modding transit networks.- 3,919 Replies

Have you tried converting all the facade into one single mesh and applying aboy uvw mapping?
-
That first one is a cement wall texture that I edited in order to make it red. If you want I can make thos colors for you, just show me a sample.
-
I have posted in the official Textures thread a couple of textures that might be useful.
