  1. Ave on/off highway ramps

Turn your details settings back up, the update automatically sets them back at default levels.
  2. Can you rename regions?

Open the region.ini file in the region folder in notepad, and change the name in there. I've never tried in on a populated region, but I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work. Might want to create a backup before you try, just in case.
  3. NAM General Discussion Thread

@Andreas Roth: Thanks for the suggestions, that was my first thought as well. Tried it, to no avail. STEX downloads are working fine, it's just the downloads in the modds section for some reason. Never had this problem on here before, but my pc has been giving me all kinds of trouble lately so it might be something else on my end. Hopefully I can figure it out soon...
  4. NAM General Discussion Thread

Having problems downloading the recent file, as in when I click on the link to download in the mods section nothing happens. Anyone else having this problem?
  5. Yes, it works. I use rivers with ferries to replace highways between cities all the time in early games.
  6. Library Tower / US Bank Tower, Los Angeles BATing

Nothing wrong with having options. Looks pretty good so far.
  7. Maybe I'm just going blind, but I can't find the fix on the STEX anywhere. Could somebody post a link?
  8. Out of curiosity, will the patch fix cities that are already broken, or only stop it from happening on new cities?
  9. Fully Functional Regions?

In theory, yes, it can be done. All you have to do iis copy someone's entire region folder into your own. In practice, it's difficult due to the size of a region. Even my smallest regions that are no where near complete are 100MB or more. The only viable option for sharing such large files is through an instant messenger service or a p2p client, since most emails won't accept an attatchment of that size and not many websites have the capability either.
  10. CPT Terrain Mod - Trees

All 3 appear to still be corrupted. This little bug has been hitting a lot lately, there must be some kind of glitch in the STEX.
  11. CPT Terrain Mod - Trees

Yes, unfortunately all 3 files were corrupted in the upload process. Can't wait for it to be fixed though, as this looks absolutely amazing.
  12. CPTNo7AssortedTreeControllers

The dreaded corrupted archive bug hits again.
  13. One Wilshire Building

wow, you sure do pop them out fast don't you. very nice.
  14. Citigroup Center Downtown Los Angeles

ah, now I see the interest in making some LA buildings. I thought maybe you just saw how nice some of the buildings were and decided to try and recreate some of them.

Westin Bonaventure Hotel quote> Thats a great idea but right now i think i will choose between One Wilshire or Aon Center One Wilshire Downtown Los Angeles (Black Building) Aon Center Simple but modern buildings');' height=15 alt='Insert smilie ' src='https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/images/smilies/1.gif' width=15 border=0> quote> Of those two I would personally prefer the Aon Center, since it stands out in the LA skyline, while One Wilshire dissapears behind several other buildings around it. But, that's just my opinion. Oh and if you even need any insight into LA's buildings let me know, I've lived in LA going on 4 years now, so I know my way around the buildings pretty well. I don't really get a ton of time where I could go out and take a bunch of pictures of specific buildings anymore, but I'm sure there's some useful info I could give you.
