just one problem I've got some lots I cant edit for some reason (like the seaport, ferry, and train stations) when I go to edit them, it says I dont have some plugins installed but they work just fine in game... so is there something I have to download? What I really want to do is make train stations where the tracks run through the lot

You might also have express trains that are non-stop to other major cities (ex New York to Boston with no stops to smaller cities along the way). Maglev... Now that's expensive. You'd need several times the budget outlined to build a maglev network a fraction of the scale of the HSR network. You can't just upgrade rails here, you need to build an entirely new, magnetized track with little or no curves along the way in order for it to achieve top speeds. Sure, its cool, but where's the money? quote> since trains are already prety fequent, they'd need to lay separate paralell lines to keep an express from hitting traffic- but that's do-able about the maglev- Japan seems to have the money, lol Maybe we will have a good amount soon as well whats funny is that Japan has high speed rail and it's a highly mountainous region, and the US doesn't and is relatively flat

Over 15,000 people protested in Atlanta, other Tea Parties took place in San Fransisco, Houston, New Orleans, Cinncinatii, Washington D.C. and many other cities across the United States. Some say that Texans are so discusted by the reckless spending of Pres. Obama that they may seceed from the U.S. but Governer Rick Perry says it won't come to it. Has the worlds wealthies and most powerful nation finally come to its knees?quote> ugh... nobody taks this seriously- in fact, just about nobody takes the central US seriously, lol

Originally posted by: belfastuniguy Although national high speed rail links are really not practical for America, given the size. Its good smaller scale projects are to go forward. American rail has been a joke for a long time and the result of many factors. However, the planned high-speed routes are good news indeed.quote> ?? (O_o) ?? have you been on the US rail systems before? - The rail system is pretty extensive in the US. There are hundreds of kids that commute to my high school by train and I cant tell you how many people use the NJ Transit/Metro North t train service between NY, CT and NJ, not to mention Amtrak that links the whole continental US that's just one example- I don't know what he's planning, if the stops are frequent , a high speed rail network will be useless, as it will never get up to speed. you do realize they only ban you if you are reported by a user/multiple users, right? When you sign up for xbl, it clearly says not to write anything having to do with that or anything "vulgar" so whoever decided to put "im gay"! in their profile is absolutely retarded- there's really no argument here.

looks great! Very realistic too- how do you keep the buildings so uniform? -
I would like to see a few things- diagonal bridge building 1 way street with 3 or 4 lanes avenue with 3 lanes on each side and no divider elevated rail on avenue (it is a more logical choice than on road) and I like what you guys did to change the commutes- such as walking an extra block to get to a bus stop instead of driving: I think an improvement on this would be if a form of transport is over-used (like in some cases, 150% or higher to capacity) hey find an alternate route or form of transportation to avoid congesting it and lastly, rail and highway tunnels that can go underwater- I think it would have to be a minimum length on both sides of the land so that the rate of ascent and descent is realistic there's my suggestions, thanks
