  1. Sculpting Columbia River

Makes me wish I could move there. Outstanding layout and design.
  2. Adventures in Design: a new multi cj

I love the detail you put into your cities, especially the rail yards and transit systems. Some one may have already asked but where can some of those asian buildings be downloaded?
  3. Life on an Airplane, an RHF CJ

Date: 5/27/2005 3:55:31 PM Author: RadioheadFan Meister: I feel your pain! Maybe, you could send the comments to me with telepathy or something... GAH! I COULD EAT DAGGERS RIGHT NOW!     Guess what? I had an update all ready on the new town of Pawtucket, which was picture-perfect by the way, and was just exiting the game when BAM! the power goes out. Oh man, I could've killed somebody...3 hours of work down the drain... RHF That has happened to me. I've tried to discipline myself to save regularly. It would be nice if the game had an automatic save reminder for those of us who get so caught up in building we forget to hit the save button. Anyway, great updates, and I love the story line. I wish I had your knack for spinning a tale.
  4. Goldenrod Plains

I'm interested to see how your ponds develop. Nice job!
  5. Landport Tower

Nice size to fit into those little underused lots.

  7. My Home Town - A journal about Newmarket

I mentioned the property that my family has owned for three generations was planned for conversion to a high end commercial development. Crosstown Square is the result. Yesterday the developer took all the property owner on a tour of the complex, including lunch in the restaurant at the top of the Global Life tower. It's hard to believe the little homes and businesses had ever stood there; except for one amazing fact. Our walkup apartment buildings have been refurbished and are now part of this remarkable place. If you look closely you will see the two little buildings in one of the photos. Anyway, here is the article in the Business Journal. I've also included one on Newmarket State. https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//ScreenShot029.jpg align=baseline> https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//ScreenShot030.jpg align=baseline> https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//NSC.jpg align=baseline> https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//NSC%201.jpg align=baseline> https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//NSC%202.jpg align=baseline>

  16. Welcome to Freeport

Date: 5/10/2005 12:13:29 PM Author: UrbanSprawl This is the part of Highland Street that's going to be redeveloped. When finished it will be an urban street that will span into 3 districts on the east side of Freeport - Highland Junction, Eastview and Southeast Centre. Public Transit will also be improved along this street with a monorail running through the middle and subways connecting high rise subdivisions to the monorail system. Love this pic!!!!!!!!![:0]

  18. My Home Town - A journal about Newmarket

I just finished reading this article about our new passenger ferry terminal in the local business journal. Sometimes I take a ferry and bring a lunch just to enjoy the view around the bay. Alot of commuters use them who work downtown and live out in the beach communities. One of my friends who works for the Chamber of Commerce said they are going to build a retail pier onto the terminal with shops and restaurants. I'll send a picture if it happens. https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//ScreenShot025.jpg align=baseline> https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//ScreenShot026.jpg align=baseline>

Just when I think it couldn't get any better...!!! Bravo!
  21. RH Airport Pack

This is probably a dumb question but when I download the updated version the file still says v1.3 and the lots look the same. ie: no diagonal tarmac pieces.
  22. In introducing this journal I want to acknowlage whiteshark's Crystal Junction as it's inspiration. I wanted to try something different from my other regions, so for better or worse, here is an overview photo. More to come soon.
  23. Thames: British style CJ

I like the British feel of the region. Makes me want to reread a Dick Francis novel.
  24. Sculpting Columbia River

    Your sculpting continues to impress!!
  25. Digby - East Coast Region

Date: 4/17/2005 3:44:37 PM Author: Cjah Yes that big map is made from the little topographic map.....I don't know how,but I'm pretty sure thats what that is... An update soon....quote> Yea, some cj's have really nice maps. I've tried a couple of times but have had limited success and my methods have been tedious. I really admire those who have the ability to create them. Is there a thread somewhere that gives some help in that area? Anyway, this is a great cj.
