I have finally been able to grow a large city, with about 90,000 sims in it. Unfortunately for me, whenever I play that city, the game crashes, and I have to start my development over again. And it started when I had over 80,000 sims. Any tips to make it stop? I have 494 MB in my plugin folder, so I think I don't have too much.

so i have been very interested in other countries since deciding to do some study abroad program in college. so i was wondering what some slang terms are in other countries. ok, so i thought this was going to be a "game", but i guess not. this is going good though. if someone would like to change the forum, that'd be ok. just pm me about it. keep it up people!

yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i do! the largest i have gotten is a 200k medium city with most of the area being water. i did water on 3 sides with a river going down the middle of the land. its small, but i have a very nice business district. and i'm also on the 150th year!

I believe I have found the problem. If you look near the edge, you will see a gap with the wall: well, whenever I try to put a wall there, the game crashes. I assume there is some bug there, but I'm not worrying about it, I'll just avoid it. Thank you all for your help, and if I have anymore problems, I know who to ask!!! P.S. I'm not gonna buy extra ram. I won't play if I need to, so I'm good about not spending money right now!

here's the list: x2 radius for schools and hospitals, an airport pack that i don't use, some things from BSC, Buddybud, CSX, Jeronij, MUROS PIEDRA, SFBT, Simgoober, and WalkingSnake, some airplanes, Soundwalls, diagonal fix, sunken highway walls, a simoleon mod, crosswalk reduction, different skin for powerlines, a plaza set, parking lots and garages, opera house fix (i don't have one in my city), no palms, NAM, RHW, SAM, Minor League Stadiums, Hidden arrows, hole diggers, flag river stadium, Italia terrain with trees, some new cars, and the bridge height mod. I think that covers all of it.

well in my operating system (C I have 116 Gb out of 149 Gb free and in my storage system (E I have 148 Gb out of 149 Gb free, so probably not that right?

I left my house and left my SC4 running on the computer. My sister decides she wants to check her email. Being ever so kind, she tries to save the game. Suddenly, the game "freezes" (so she says) and she takes the disk out and turns off the computer. Now, of course, my city will not load. Is there any hope for me to get that city back? Or do I need to cut my losses and start over?

I'm trying! I don't like plop-playing (what??) so I just let the people build and build. But I've had some trouble...like me not liking a city so deleting it -

the texture for my angled railroad is darker than the straight pieces. can someone point me in the direction of a mod that will fix this. i downloaded the newest NAM, but i dont know if that has anything to do with it. also, the FARR pieces are the darker color too.
