The main point of this project is to make the maxis lots better looking and more realistic. I will be keeping the original maxis buildings but improving the eye-sore lots they are on; meaning that there are going to be quite a bit of dependencies but I am aiming to use less than my previous attempts. I tried starting this project a while ago but then my sister ruined our computer files. I re-started it, but then i found myself going nowhere and then we got a new computer, now I wanted a fresh new start and I am trying it again for the third time and hopefully it will be unhindered and completed. I am going to mod the rewards lots, civic lots, RCI lots, and maybe some landmark lots. I will also make additional utility, recreation, and transportation lots, but their capacities will not be altered; this project is meant for eye-candy. On a side note the trees will also be seasonal I will gladly take any constructive criticism and answer questions as best as I can. Important: This mod will not be compatible with older cities because lot sizes will be changed and if those cities are loaded, the lots could interfere with each other and could wreak havoc. With that all said I will start with some rewards: Mayor's House - I wanted a different building than the mayor's house but it was tough to find one that hid it and didn't clip the mayor's house as bad, you can still see parts of the house though. The empty grass spaces on the sides of th patio have the fireworks effects: Stock Exchange- I tried to make this lot fit better in an urban setting: I will post some more pictures as I finish working on some of the lots.

This is my second upload in a project aimed to make the maxis lots look more realistic, not the buildings or effects; only the aesthetic appearances have been changed. This set focuses on the business deal rewards (I did not re-lot the federal prison because the building is the whole size of the lot, there is no sense in adding a larger lot to it. But if there is enough demand for it, I will try and re-lot it): Casino Toxic Waste Dump Army Base Missile Range Area 5.1(once placed, the UDI planes will bounce back-and-forth, to fix, just reload the city) I increased the size of the lots of the casino, missile range, toxic waste dump, and area 5.1: Area 5.1 - 25x10 (originally 20x9) Missile Range - 6x4 (originally 4x4) Casino - 6x5 (originally 6x4) Toxic Dump - 6x6 (originally 4x4) There are several dependencies: SG Mega props BSC prop pack No 1 LBT Mega textures Gizmo's vehicle prop pack (no registration required, just click the download button on the bottom of the blue box) Nuclear Container Props Military truck props Boeing E-3 Sentry prop Boeing C-17 prop Installation: Simply extract the files you want into your SimCity plugins folder. FrankU: Thanks for the advice and bringing that point about the Mr.Truesage mod! I just used the building plop cheat to build those other city hall phases, but I will recommend the other mod. burnzie_16: I updated the file to a .zip format, try downloading it again, it should work now. I have two more re-lots for my next pack, the business deal rewards: Army Base - the open areas by the barracks have the military jumping jacks effect: Toxic Waste Dump: Area 5.1: When I place this lot, those UDI jets bounce back and forth, then stop in the middle, does anyone know how to fix that? So far the only answer seems to be re-loading the city. -

EDIT: I converted the files into zip format I was getting bored of seeing the Maxis lots and I wanted to make them better.This is my first upload in a project aimed to improve the maxis lots, not the buildings or effects, to look better and hopefully more realistic. Nothing but the aesthetic appearance is changed in this mod. I would be glad to answer questions the best I can in my lot thread: http://community.sim...re-lot-project/ This set focuses on a few of the rewards: Mayor's House City hall Phases 1,2,&3 Stock Exchange Court House Mayor Statues All I did was add more props, new textures, and change the orientation of the lots of these rewards to make them look a lot more interesting and to fit in better with parks/plazas. Only the Mayor's House and Stock Exchange had a lot size increase to 4x4 tiles. Here is a few more I have done: Court house: City Hall Phase 1: City Hall Phases 2&3- As the building grew larger, the fewer options I had to improve: Mayor's Statues 1&2: Mayor's Statues 3&4: I am not going to re-lot the Bureau of Bureaucracy since the whole building is the lot and there is no need to improve it. Also, I am planning on using all of these lots in my first release, what do you think? I am open to ideas and suggestions. -

1994: I am glad to see you are interested int this project! Between those two lots and others I am currently working on, 4.There are quite a bit of dependencies but they are going to be used on all of my re-lots: all 500+ RCI lots, rewards, and additional civics and parks. Also, I mostly chose the more common dependencies so most people should already have them if they downloaded many things. This will be my second upgrade witness. I definitely can't wait, but I will be patient and will not panic I have a question as well: Will anything else be removed/reset besides the things listed above(blogs, PMs, subscriptions, signiatures)? I love the blue smilies ...and the ducky and bunny -
I have it for xbox, it is okay. One of the things I don't like is that the gun fire is way too delayed(also I do not like the knifing as well). All the maps are too big to move around except for nuketown, which is nice. I hate WMD, Hanoi, Crisis, Havana, and Jungle. I like the campaign a lot and I love playing zombies.

Your work is very nice! I am not sure if you will take this request or if you will have the time for it, but could you make a cracked roadway mod for roads/avenues/OWRs/etc...? Maybe for a SAM if you can't do it for all roadways? -

I remember that if you have a missile launcher and the missile fails, the debris will land on nearby buildings catching them on fire. -

I would like to know: How do you know where the actual effect(the green diamonds) will appear in-game? It is confusing to me because I can't tell if it is the green diamond or the blue square(to show where the prop is) that is where the effect is, say for a helicopter; how do I know how high to put it so that it does not appear stuck in the middle of the helipad and how do I know where to put the blinking lights on an antenna or the helipad to get it to show where I exactly want it? Is there a way this can be fixed so that it shows the actual effect in LE? EDIT: How would I place the airport luggage trolley and seaport forklift and small crane/large crane to get them to move around the lot without going through props(if they move). What is this effect: Effect_car_queue? Is it a line of cars like at the car + passenger ferry?

After what happened to my computer(story is in the last post of my old thread), I decided to make a new thread to organize everything and not continue my work on the old thread. Now that is taken care of, I am continuing my maxis mod here. I will make a new mayor's house, and replace all the rewards with modded versions. Like last thread, I will take advice, just as long as it isn't crazy. There are going to be quite a few more dependencies, but I am going to categorize them to each RCI level. I also thought up of a few new techniques to make each lot better. Now that is taken care of, I am working on getting the dependency packs together and I will post them here. Untill then, you can ask questions or comment on anything you want(keep it reasonable). T Wrecks: That is why I started that topic earlier thinking that it was gizmo's props, but I found out that the real reason is that there was a hidden terrain mod that I forgot to delete. That problem is fixed now. iuri99: I will definitely be adding accessable parking lots on every lot that I put a parking lot on, none of them will be in the back and isolated. -

This is a very good idea and it is looking very nice! This might have been answered before, but I just want to make sure: Would this be compatible with the maxis farms that I modded(only the lots) and some farm fields I made that do not replace them using Lot Editor? -
