I love this CJ. It's always been one of my favorites.

Well, since nobody's replied, how about I spice it up with a much better, sexier version of my towers! I've still gotta model out stuff on the central Plaza. Any ideas on what else to do with it?

It's really not man. I was afraid of the same thing, and I found myself in the top 10 twice and the +10 twice, and I have had trouble updating recently.

Anywho, Although Illium City has been liberated, the war is far from over. Over the course of the past month or so, I've finished three tiles, and terraformed two more. I'll continue expanding north along the river and west-east along the coast. :: NEWS :: :: REGION UPDATE :: Region so Far: As you can see, areas north of Illium City have developed quite a bit. Fox River and Maddigan City are actually complete, and suburbs and farmland are now visible. I'm still terraforming as I create cities and tiles, but it's a long, slow process. This image is also slightly out of date, as the south side of Illium city has received a facelift, including a new port! :: ILLIUM CITY :: You scratch our back, We scratch yours: Thanks to massive humanitarian support from Hiemen, the residents of Illium City have basic communication and most of the city has power. In thanks for the country's effort, an Embassy has been constructed across from the Queen's palace. A City Torn... by 155mm Shells: The Occupation was short, but bloody. Prosperity Island took the worst of the damage, as it was the last holding place for Calistan military forces once the counterattack had begun. Calistan Special Forces dug in and fortified many buildings in the Central Business District of Illium City. To get them out, the Dakaran Navy had to shell the island, damaging many structures. :: NORTHERN SUBURBS :: Corinth: Corinth is a small, sleepy town northeast of Illium City. Denton: This is an image of downtown Denton, a main suburb on the north side of Illium City. Maddigan City: This industrial district provides power and industry for Maddigan city, Fox River, and other outlying suburbs. Fox River: Here is the North End of Fox River. The IH-20 Loop runs through the center, across Medlen Creek and turns westward into the north end of Maddigan City Maddigan City: Here is the far-north end of Maddigan City. Also seen here is Tradewind Dr widening project, which will include a rail line connecting Fox river to eastern Denton. Pilot Point: Here is another farming village, this one directly north of Denton. Frisco: This riverside town is called Frisco. It sits northwest of Denton. Riverwood: Riverwood is split by the Illium River Saraih Regional Airport: Sariah Regional Airport serves the north side of Illium River. Westwood: Westwood is yet another sleepy farming town northeast of Denton. Whiterun: Whiterun is a larger town in the foothills of the Illius Mountains. It serves as a trading post between the city folk down south and the mountain folk up north.

I was drooling like a schoolgirl drools over Justin Beiber. The college campus is FANTASTIC! I think I'm going to work some more on the University of Illium. Reiteration: That campus is absolutely amazing. Like holy $%&^! amazing! I'm submitting my app! I've got a 3.8 GPA at the Art Institute of Dallas, and I get Post 9/11 GI Bill benefits so it'll be paid for. CAN I ATTEND?

Whoah! Illium made the weekly top ten?! Talk about a very unexpected, but very pleasant surprise! I'm also excited I made the top 100. 57 isn't bad at all, especially considering how relatively young Illium is compared to some other CJ's.

I much prefer Photoshop. I've been using it since 2004, and I can do just about anything with it. It's intuitive, there are millions of tutorials to help you get past that steep learning curve, and you can use to for an insurmountable amount of tasks. I love it, and much prefer it to GIMP. I got Photoshop CS3 free thanks to an amazing Advertising Design teacher a couple years ago.
