I recall seeing something about this on TV the other day. The report about this said that the Dallas Academy school is a school for people with slight mental disabilities, and i believe that is why the blowout is shameful and embarrassing to the other school. I think the girls on the Dallas Academy school are playing basketball more or less for the fun of it and to have another school just come in and walk all over them is really quite a sad thing to hear.

I believe that is a picture of the game City Life and not SC:S.

This whole new idea about a new NHL team coming to Toronto was just informal talk between NHL executives. It obviously isnt going to happen under the Bettman regime because he is way to focused on Americanizing the game. This just seems like people in Toronto feel like the Leafs are never going to win a Stanley Cup again so they just feel that they deserve a new team that could have a better chance. Tough luck Leafs fans, you are just going to have to deal with holding hands with the Islanders in the standings.

This is one of my favourite buildings and perhaps some of you have seen it looking at the Vancouver skyline. It is known as Canada place, and it is home to the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Center as well as the city's main cruise ship terminal. If you are fortunate enough, like i was, you can take a VERY scenic cruise up to Alaska, and if you go at the right time of the year, you may even see whales along the way. Another Building that I love is the Telus World of Science, or, more commonly referred to as, Science World.

WoW is a real time game to some degree. There are cast times and cool downs on spells and such to prevent you from mass-combo-ing, unless your a rogue. As shortstraw said, it is a fairly common to see one person controlling 2 or 3 characters, but not 36 all at once. What really surprises me about this is the fact that he chooses to play 33 shamans, with an intent to raid the main Alliance cities. From my personal experience, Shamans don't do enough damage to take out masses of people fairly quickly and dont have enough defense to with stand a barrage of attacks from tons of people. As obvious as this may sound, he really is wasting a lot of time choosing to do this. WoW has almost always favoured PvE over PvP and all he is really going to accomplish by raiding main cities is either pissing a lot of people off, or getting a lot of people to work together and take out his "army" and then corpse camping him so he can't do anything anymore. For those of you not familiar with WoW, when you die, you become a spirit/ghost and you appear at the nearest graveyard, then you must run back to your body to respawn. Corpse camping is a perfect legal practice in WoW in which you stay near someones body and kill them everytime they respawn. If his 36 characters are all moving close to each other in sync, it is going to be fairly easy for the Alliance to sit around and kill him over and over again. Then you also have to factor in the fact that having his 36 characters fighting probably close to 50 or however many Alliance, and all the guards/NPCs he attracts is going to be pretty laggy, and judging from the pictures it doesn't exactly appear as if he has 11 top-of-the-line computers. I mean if he doesnt have the hindsight to recognize factors like this are going to make his idea very difficult, we could be in for a new FPS-doug, WoW style.

The Avenues with turning lanes instead of a median are part of a new NAM project; the Network Widening Mod. Although there is no release date set for it yet you can read a lot more about it on the SC4 Devotion forums, as the NAM team is much more active there.

I think there is a cap to the patient capacity, and im assuming that "millions" is far over it, so i assume the game reset it back to zero. I believe that a similar thing happens with parks when you try to give them a radically high park effect, and it ends up giving a negative effect instead.

If you hold ctrl while zoning industry it will zone it to whatever size you want. The lot size and arrows will not appear while you are dragging the zone, but they will show up once you have placed it.

If you downloaded CAM after you built the city then none of the skyscrapers will appear because CAM will not work with existing cities.

A tunnel underwater does allow regular traffic to go through. From my personal experience i have built a tunnel as the only way of crossing the river and the sims used it. However, I was not able to UDI through it as I just seemed to follow the terrain and end up deep in a hole and unable to get back up.

It sounds like your visual settings may have been set back to default. Many of the textures and little details only appear under "high" City detail.

"Dissolving Parliament" occurs in a Parliamentary Democracy at the call of an election. It is similar to a vote of no confidence, but a vote of no confidence is usually put before parliament by the opposition in hopes of getting the current government to resign or seek a dissolution of parliamentary. The Prime Minister can "Dissolve Parliament" at any time he chooses, baring the approval of the governor-general. Stephen Harper has "Dissolved Parliament" so that he can have a General Election, which has been called for on October 14, in hopes of gaining more seats in the House of Commons, or possibly, but not likely, a majority government. Harper has decided to pull the cord on his government a year early because he has claims that the Opposition has made it impossible for him to run his own legislative agenda.

I-A demand drops as education rises. If you are trying to build a very rural area then perhaps try building only a few elementry schools and libraries to keep your sims education down. You could also try to use the Radical Ordinance Mod which has a ordinance for radical I-A demand.

I went to Toronto about 2 years ago and in my opinion Montreal and Vancouver are FAR more beautiful cities than Toronto. Toronto is a very clean city and sure you get a beautiful view from atop the CN tower, but that is really only on a clear day. In the winter all you see is dull shades of gray and white blanketing the entire city. I don't know exactly how many people here are from Western Canada, but out here it feels like we are just force fed so much **** from Toronto that it starts getting over-whelming. I for one am sick and tired of having to put up with the Leafs, Bob Cole and Harry Neale EVERY Saturday on HNIC, what is wrong with showing Habs or Sens games to the rest of Canada. People in Toronto are all very nice, but, to me, Ive always felt that Toronto, as a city, comes off as quite arrogant and smug, almost as if they are the center of the universe. Ive never quite gotten why people always find it necessary to compare Toronto to LA, NY, Tokyo, Paris, Rome, etc. because Toronto is in no way a city of that caliber.

The water and power and even rewards cheat only work until you exit the city/tile. Im not quite sure why the water cheat doesn't work for you at all, but Hamish is right, water isnt really that expensive. If you really wanted to you could just download the radical ordinance mod and have a water tower/wind turbine supply water and power for the whole city at a very minimal cost.

Many of you seem to be very quick to dismiss this. Many of you seem to quickly jump to the conclusion that this is the moon. However, if you look at a weather website, such as the weather network, it says that on the night of August 2nd, the moon, over Winnipeg (where kelly's profile says he is from) was still relatively new, still less than it's first quarter. The only time the moon appears round, such as the object in the video, is when it is full. Also, I'm no expert on photography or recording videos, but that orb of light seems to be a little small to be the moon. Patricius Maximus also brings up a good point when he says that the light changes from white to orange almost at regular intervals, which doesn't exactly seem like something that a flashlight does. Also, flashlights are designed to spread light out everywhere, and not just concentrate it in one area. Some of you have also mentioned that this could just be a street light, but street lights don't exactly change colours, and if he was filming a street light why is there only one. Many people also seem to be under the impression that if there was a technologically-advanced race capable of traveling at the speed of light, or faster, they would not be able to find us, or really care for us "primitive" people. In my opinion though, I'm sure that if they can travel at the speed of light or faster, they probably have explored more of the universe than we have, and probably have some sort of very powerful radar, or some sort of means of detecting things, that is far beyond our abilities and understanding. Why would they come to Earth though? Maybe they are just making observations of how different life forms function, who said that curiosity was limited planet Earth. I don't exactly know what Kelly has done to get this bad reputation, but he is entitled to his own opinion and can believe whatever he chooses. Many of you seem to be almost insulting him for believing in something that you don't, which in my opinion seems quite arrogant. I, for one, am going to remain skeptical because if nobody knows what it is, than right and wrong is merely a perspective.

I maybe wrong, but i believe the amount of customers that are reported in the building query has to do with the amount of traffic that goes past it in a single day.

Id have to agree with the other people here. The oil crisis clearly shows how much we need to find an alternative source of energy. Finding and burning more oil is the easy way out, but there clearly needs to be an alternative.Lets say theoretically that the US decided to begin extracting all that oil shale, and the price of oil dropped significantly. That would be horrible news because as you stated you would be free to burn oil for another 2647 years. Research in alternative forms of energy would all die out because the cost of oil has become so cheap there is no way for the alternatives to compete. The extract of oil shale should be kept banned because it gives people an incentive to find an alternative. If the ban was to be lifted i seriously doubt that people would still be alive for half of that time because of the amount of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases would shoot right back up and spell the end for humanity.

After being to Switzerland i can definitely see why it's cities consistently rank in the top 5 for beauty and livability. Living in Vancouver my entire life i honestly feel that Zurich and Geneva are miles ahead of Vancouver in terms of beauty. The beauty of the Swiss alps is really something you have to experience for yourself. In terms of safety, maybe its just because I'm more exposed to North American news, but Europe, in general, seems to be a lot safer of a continent than North America. After visiting Toronto and NYC a couple years ago i really do notice bad traffic. Sure Vancouver may be way smaller than Toronto and NYC, but for a city that doesn't have a highway running through it, it really does do a good job maintaining a smooth traffic flow. One thing that i always find funny about these surveys is that Vancouver still manages to rank within the top 5 of all these surveys when we have a horrible horrible homelessness issue. I realize that many of you have not been to Vancouver, but the intersection of Main and Hastings is literally crack/meth head central. The intersection is just packed with homeless people and drug addicts, and even with a police station right on the corner, the cops just look the other way.

I, like most of the other people here, believe that these people should be left alone. I don't think we should bring them up to speed, spread the word of god, use them as lab rats and "study" them, or anything like that. Who are we to play god over "uncivilized" people's live? The mere fact that these people have withstood the test of time and are still around today using primitive technology such as bows and arrows should something that we should be proud of as humans. I don't believe that we should force change on these people's live when their way of life has manage to keep them alive for how ever many years.
