The new River Haven tran car set is awesome, just as I pictured them in my mind. Many thx Trolca, again.

I just downloaded them, and they look awesome. Can't wait to try them out in the game. Thank you a thousand times Trolca to take the time and make this River Haven train set for my city River Haven. This will make it all look so much better / realistic. Can't wait for the cars to go with them too then I'll be all set with the ground trains.

I beleive this is yet another map NOT saved as a greyscale but as RGB colors. When so, it won't even start to render. I tried to attach the fixed version but apparently, I am not allowed attach files???

If you open up a lot with a custom query in the Reader, you will see a UI file. Select it and you will be able to see how it is made, you can also make changes to it from this view. I copied a UI into a lot of mine, then edited everything the way I wanted it. What info to show, where to show it, custom colors and fields etc. Is pretty selfexplanatory really and not that hard with a bit of trial and error.

I have done some experimenting with tunnels lately and I don't think it is possible to make them as you want them jeeper. In order for the on/off ramps to be put in, the freeway has to come out of a tunnel, then the ramp, then back into a tunnel again on the other side. I'd love to be proven wrong on this so if anyone knows a way to do it, plz let us all know. To make tunnel entrances/exits with perfect sides, perfectly leveled ground etc of any width, length or depth (no deeper than sealevel of course) is very easy though. No need to raise the land first as so many ppl sugest, actually, it just makes it harder. The way I do it works very good for canals and such too. Canals can then be filled using the surface water texture lot kit for a truly awesome look. Sides can then be dressed in for example a brick texture. Bridges can be built over them too if one wants to.

I beleive the Cincinnati map .jpg is also set to the wrong # of colors for being a greyscale. I had to open it up in PaintShop Pro and set it to greyscale and then resave it to make it work.

hmmm, surface water, I like that. Opens up tons of new and interesting possibilites. Snow is pretty cool too, to put on tops of tall mountains etc, make skiresorts and what not. I really hope someone has the skills to make this work so we don't have to wait until the next expansionpack/SC release...
