  1. I am Simonuts (The nutty sim)

Dang #%&7! Namit this empty CJ is getting more responses than mine!
  2. The Cabel Bay Republic

You can really tell that you put quite a bit of work into your low res areas. Those road and street networks are nicely laid out. My only suggestion would be to space things out a bit more ~ maybe add some backyards and greenery to make the blocks larger. Things look a little tight to me in some of those areas. I remember when I first started playing SC a few years ago ~ As I would drive through my midwestern hometown I took note of how many houses on average each city block held and I found that 12-18 houses long by 4-8 houses wide was a good representation for low res areas. Anyway its nice to see your large low res areas with no dilapidation due to long commute times. Nice job and I look forward to seeing more!
  3. Anduin Valley Revisited

Looking very nice Darmok! I like the way you laid things out so far! Other than your masterful park work I think the rail lines look great and I dig how the one line carves through the landscape. Another little thing I noticed is was the perfect overpass of the gound highway over the rail line. Looks like Osgiliath is shaping up nicely! As always looking forward to seeing more!
  4. The Empire of Chaumont - 'Delightfully Oppressive'

'Delightfully Impressive'! ~ an original style much different from my own. The latest region shot looks beautiful so far. I can really appreciate the time you have put forth. Your presentation, layout and planning are top notch! I am hooked and looking forward to seeing more!!!
  5. Aureliano. Flareflakes Rush.

The mine looks very nice and well planned. Your rail lines and yards are laid out beautifully. I am looking forward to seeing how it turns out and more of your lot work! This CJ is off to as good of a start as any I have seen here ~ nice job Criquette!
  6. The Region of Ammodramus: a CJ by GQ

Your CJ is off to a nice start! I see you are up to date with some of the latest mods/bats like the roads with turn lanes and the single track rail lines. I really like the rail area with the dirt roads. A few of your pics are a little too distorted for my tastes though. Don't worry about us 56K'ers ! I typically stop the pages from loading and use my mouse and the show picture option to load pics one at a time. Looking forward to seeing what lies ahead!
  7. Ralston Metro Area

Splendid work!!! This my first visit and it was worth the 56K wait. Your presentation is top notch and your rural settings are very colorful and inviting. Autumn in Ralston makes me want to hop on my motorcycle and go for an all day ride . Looking forward to future updates ~ keep up the good work!
  8. Acorn Creek Region - An American Story

Very nice so far! I like how the quaint village of Palisade is coming along. I agree with others ~ nice utilization of the dirt roads. The fort looks great and I also like the area along Hunter road. Other areas I liked were the GLR line and Veronica lake. Your presentation looks pretty good as well. Keep up the nice work! Looking forward to your next update!
  9. Developing Macedon

Off to a great start! I really like the bridge tunnel combo and the way you layed out your road network and industrial areas so far. The rail lines look promising too. My only concern is the multiple track crossings near the Il Tonsko lot. The game's engine has problems when too many tracks cross over each other. You might find a visual traffic jam of stalled trains in this area depending on how much usage you get. For this reason you might want to simplify the area and illiminate some of the crossings. Other than that everything else looks great and I am looking forward to seeing more updates!
  10. Aureliano. Flareflakes Rush.

Excellent start so far! Nice balance between the story and your city building. Your railroad is coming along nicely. I don't think I have seen a seasonal change like that before in a CJ. Keep up the good work ~ looking forward to seeing more updates!
  11. Urland, a (mostly) rural coastline

Marvelous work as usual! Your gaming skills are as good as it gets! Everything looks so real and your detailing is unmatched. How can anyone not follow this CJ all the way through! Its has everything I like to see. Great use of rail, nice open spaces, extremly well mastered sloping, colorful and charming rural developments, and helpful tutorials! Looking forward to what's next!!!
  12. The Brastoval Bay Area

Holy cr@p you are on a torrid pace! That region shot says it all! You make me look silly with my spattering of small updates. Now you got me inspired to get some substantial work done ~ definately an inspiring CJ you have here Alek!
  13. Urland, a (mostly) rural coastline

Looky what we have here ~ rural coastline eh? I guess I missed the mostly section. Your transportation networks are most excellent nardo!!! Its my first visit here and me likes it. Have not seen any of the previous pages yet as I was stopped in my tracks when I saw these shots! Tried to toss a coin on the rails but they bounced off my computer. Now I guess I need to venture back in time. Keep up the good work. I really dig what I am seeing!
  14. The Brastoval Bay Area

Now you are really humming along! Very nice presentation and effort put forth! An update doesn't getting any slicker than that! Your cities look quite inviting. Your latest work is showing me a nice progression and is very asthetically pleasing. Looks like your enjoying the game more than ever! Keep it coming!
  15. Anduin Valley Revisited

Now that's an excellent use for the walls! Great shot! Are you begining to see more GLR trains now? I saw a post somewhere that you were getting annoyed with heavy usage stats but very little visual traffic. Next update is looking pretty interesting!
  16. Birmingsfield: UK Style Industrial City Journal

I can see you get the most out of this outstanding game Maxis created for us. This CJ covers all the bases. Excellent custom bats made on your own. Realworld based cities that you can sink your teeth into! Dan, you are a SC4 machine! I dig all the great buildings, etc.. you have created and shared. I have quite a few in my PI folder. I also appreciate your rail lines and attention to detail. Keep up the the great work and contributions! Looking forward to what comes next!
  17. NDEX Hotel Stoneleigh by EB and DT

Another nice work! Not too tall or too short! The nightlighting suits it well! Thanks for another quality bat for my folder!
  18. NDEX Dohn Building by DT

I dig 2 tile stuff. CO$$ is nice to have as well! Nice bit of architecture too boot!!
  19. 125 London Wall

    Fabulous!!! 10/10
  20. Welcome to Melanosia

Really slick updates! Have not been here in awhile. Region View ~ Impresive indeed! Waterfalls ~ outstanding. The Ruins ~ really sweet, I like how its layed out and tucked away! Parks ~ very inviting! The bridge to the Temple. Oh, Oh, You have a short 45% slope there on the left ~ going to have to close the bridge until it passes inspection! Entrance to Temple ~ A few minutes in the LE and you could easily retexture the tarmac connector tile to match the temple's driveway. No need for the merge, bushes and signs that the original road connector has. If you want I'll do it for you and pass it along. You'd have to send me the temple though. I really continue to appreciate your work! Looking forward to more updates!
  21. Anduin Valley Revisited

Nice transition to rural mode! Glad to see a few pages back you decided to forego the concrete embankments for some greenery. Hope you were pleased with the look. Of course I liked the results. Anyway we both were thinking alike when you consructed the complex with the Rising Sun pipelines. I have been spending the last few weeks in the LE constructing a large chemical complex utilizing the pipes amd creating lot puzzles just to fit my port and surrounding area. My pipelines are going to extend to a ship transfer dock as well. Now peeps are going to think I got the idea from your CJ. . I'll give you a heads up when my complex is finished if you care to take a quick look. I think you'll dig it. As usual I don't know what to expect from you next so I'll always be lurking. Keep up the excellent work!
  22. Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a cajun taste!

Nice cloverleaf! Your trans view is outstanding! It would be nice if we could illiminate the sidewalks on the divided hwys and replace them with a realistic shoulder. I dabbled a bit with making tiles that would be placed next to the oneway roads with overhaning shoulder props that would cover the sidewalks. Maybe I'll get more help to get it done. The simple shoulder prop is all that is holding things back.
  23. The Cabel Bay Republic

O.K. I just did not see many monorail trains in your shots. As long as you placed some high density R mixed with C near a few of those stations you should be alright. Its good to see the use of monorail in CJs ~ many seem to shy away from using them because they are a bit tricky to get running with profitable usage. Having a nice bus and subway network like yours also helps. Again nice work!
  24. The Cabel Bay Republic

The HWY layout looks excellent! Galena looks like it should take off for you! My only concern is the way SC4 generates monorail traffic. I know you based your line on the real world but in order to get good use from your monorail you will have to run it through varied zones like R and I. Having it simply loop around C will typically result in very little usage. Looking forward to how things turn out though! Keep up the good work!
  25. Lifelines: A SC4 Storybook by RHF

I don't have much time to read story based CJs so I can't comment on your story. I do like your gaming skills though and look forward to seeing things develop! Nice work so far!
