This is disgusting beyond belief. They just took the greatest SINGLE-PLAYER city simulation, turned it 180 (hell, more like 520), removed a lot of great single-player features that we ALL have been asking for, added some "social" features as an excuse to tack on draconian DRM, and are now trying to market to us this abomination of a game as if it was God's last gift.

I truly despise you now EA. Thanks for ruining yet another great franchise. Time to start up that open source Simcity 5 project we had on here, because I'm definitely not going to buy this game. I won't even try to pirate it now.

Ok tbh I'm liking the realistic and dynamics economic system this will bring to the game.. however...

The economie management of the game seems really appealing for me, seeing the powerplant get various upgrades aswel as the oilrigs, i wanted something like that since SC4.

BUt then they F- it up by pushing it a bit too much and making it feel like SIMCITY SOCIETIES!!

I signed up for the beta, checked every simcity, going to stalk there faces at gamescom sunday.

Again, I like the economie play, thats something that makes the game challanging. But for the love of deities, focus on city management, not social management.

and ofc the usualy kill the online only requirement, give single-player mode, godmode..... basicly give SC4 3D with enhanced economy and citiy management and you should be good...

OK I just got back from gamescom.

I have to finish up an assignement for uni 1st , after that ill writte my review on Simcity.

I can point out the game breaker tho... the map they allowed the demo on... was as large as a SMALL SC4 tile. Basicly Sim Ville imo.
