Filtering fluid, separating sludge, and conveying all manner of waste, glop, and gooey goop, here is a collection of twelve different 1x1 "buildings" which were created to add some variety to your necessary (though cough-inducing) industrial areas. This pack is selection of BATs (primarily waste and collection tanks) under the game's mechanical subset of I-d buildings. Often industrial areas can appear rather repetitious, so these should give a bit of variation, even at the expense of air and water quality. Hope you can see past the steam and smoke enough to enjoy them! -

Where else are you going to keep your sprockets, widgets, and cogs? This volume is a collection of 1x1 BATs in the out subset of I-d buildings in the game, helping to keep your inventory safe and snug before it's loaded onto the truck and shipped to farflung places, all while earning a few bucks from a bit of your Sims' sweat and hard labor. Plus, they add a bit of variety to your grimey industrial sectors (as well as a place to store 1983's carbon-copy paper receipts that your accountant is so desperate to keep.) Enjoy! -

Yes ladies and gentlemen, a 3 pack. I know that some have found a given region to be too big, some to be too small, so I will be offering this, and some future regions, in multiple sizes! In the downloaded folder, you will find the same region in three different sizes - 5x5 large cities, 6x6 large cities, and 7x7 large cities. Certainly one will be just right! The map was based on USGS data of southeastern Georgia, USA. I hand-terraformed and altered the river system heavily. The result is a river delta region where five distinct rivers of varying size meet the sea. There should be many options for different types of development. The Sizes: Brock1281 is 1281 x 1281, 5 x 5 large city tiles, 20km x 20km (roughly). Brock1537 is 1537 x 1537, 6 x 6 large city tiles, 24km x 24km (roughly). Brock1793 is 1793 x 1793, 7 x 7 large city tiles, 28km x 28km (roughly). The Download: The download is a folder containing three subfolders - Brock1281, Brock1537, and Brock1793. Each of these folders corresponds to the sizes described above. In each folder, you will find a screenshot for that particular size, a .sc4m file, and a config bitmap (feel free to make a different config if you want). Look at the screenshots to determine which size you want, then follow the directions below for getting the map into the game! Dependencies: You must have either SC4Mapper or SC4TerraFormer. The screenshot shows the map rendered with cycledogg's Italia Terrain Mod with standard snowcapped file, and with PEG's Brigantine Water Mod - these, of course, are not necessary to play the map. Instructions: In SC4Mapper: 1. Open SC4Mapper 2. Click "Create Region" 3. Click "SC4M" 4. Locate and select the file you downloaded (Brock1281.sc4m, Brock1537.sc4m, or Brock1793.sc4m) 5. Click "Save Region" 6. Name it whatever you would like. 7. Quit SC4Mapper 8. Launch SimCity4 9. Load the region you just created in SC4Mapper. 10. Play. (Don't be alarmed by the colors; when each tile is opened, the colors will change to your normal ones.) In SC4TerraFormer: 1. Create a new folder in your "regions" subdirectory. This will be the name of the region. 2. Copy of move the contents of the zip folder to the new region folder. 3. Launch SC4TerraFormer. 4. Select the region folder you just created. 5. Click "Ok". 6. The full program will launch. Close the "Overview" window. 7. On the menu on the left, click "Global Tools." 8. Under "Global Tools," select "Import image." 9. Navigate to the region folder and select the .SC4M file. (Brock1281.sc4m, Brock1537.sc4m, or Brock1793.sc4m) 10. With "scale factor" set at "Default factor," select "Ok." 11. Save and exit SC4TerraFormer. 12. Load the region you just created. 13. Play. (Don't be alarmed by the colors; when each tile is opened, the colors will change to your normal ones. -

See Also: As I've been playing this city, I've retained older versions of the map so I can go back and see how it's progressed, and now you can too! Technical Note: May require the Stonehenge Landmark file, otherwise you might wind up just seeing a greycube or empty "Unzoned" zone tiles or something like that. -

Kid - Old Town V1.03 V1.01 - Fixed a bad path in front of the hostel. Thanks, brads. V1.02 - Updated tailor with Linen, Fur, and Down V1.03 - Added stone versions of Animal/Sheep Shed It all started with finding the vanilla thatch texture. I searched and found more and more textures used in the game. I had gone so far away in other mods it felt like coming home using these textures. Some new buildings, some borrowed from myself and retextured. Both residential and service buildings, inspired by vanilla Banished. I leave no description to the mod. Finding out is half the fun. I can not guarantee it is error-free but I hope so. Enjoy. -

Kid - Out Of This World Houses V2.0 Version 2.0 gets rid of that unrealistic 'Wood Alloy'. You now need Steel, Stone, and Glass to build houses. The Mineral Extractor has changed to the Coal Extractor. You dig for Coal, and add Wood and Iron to get Steel. A new building - Crystal Works. You dig for Crystals and get Glass. No Crystals in the mod! The mod comes in two parts. Houses and Start. The Houses part includes buildings and connections. There is a lot to test. You must not load the Start part to use this. Kid - Animal Pen V1.1 After a request from taniu and some small pushes from Abandoned I decided to use a camel I had found, made by mrSiikas for Oblivion. It was nice to work with it and one thing led to another. Here are two Animal Pens in wood and a cloth tent. Both are available as either deco or as a source of fertilizer. You add any deco animal and out comes fertilizer. I have included camels (for taniu) and some horses. On my toolbar under 'resource' and 'deco'. V1.1 added a fence piece to build your own enclosures. The fertilizer is compatible with RKEC. -

Kid - Gothic Fantasy V1.21 So, here we are, back in time. Was it really a Dark Age? Or were people Happy? This mod adds the basic buildings for a 'castle ground'. A fortified section of the town. You can add walls and towers. There is even a piece of wall that goes over small streams. There are some possibilities for small production and storage. Houses, hostel, town hall and of course a Cathedral. All come in two flavors. Dark and Happy. During all this time I have had good support from Abandoned who chimed in with ideas and made tests. Disclaimer 1 ------------ I don't want you to send requests immediately. Try it first! There are not many dark mods but vanilla stone houses fit very well. For the happy version, there are many mods with the same atmosphere. Disclaimer 2 ------------ The walls can be tricky to place. Especially the corner piece. Give it a try. If you want the wall to connect to The Keep you have to use the 'connector piece' It's a 1½ tile piece with a 1-tile footprint. You will figure it out. Disclaimer 3 ------------ The tavern has a standard menu. I lost the drive to make something special. V1.1 I have listened to Paeng and added some Higher Wall pieces. They have a connector to...connect them to the old wall. I also added a School building for DesoPL's poor kid. Lastly, I have taken the liberty to add a Candlemaker. Mostly to use beeswax from Gothic Farm mod but also to give something back to Discrepancy and his work. Use candles to dig deeper into the mines! Here is another update. V1.2 This time only a low stone fence dark/happy versions. I have used it for the cemetery but also as free to build. If you recognize it, you are right. It is from Stone House Addon. V1.21 - The low stone fences didn't have a description. Added -

Need a quick cup of java on your way to work? Or maybe you're out of cigarettes, or running low on salty snacks? Is your gas meter hovering above empty? If so, then this is the place for you - presenting Maxie's Mini Mart, serving Sims twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. From lighter fluid to zesty salsa, your local Maxie's is sure to have it... Included in this upload are four low wealth commercial lots, growable stages 1 and 2 - lot size varies from 2x1 to 2x2, with 28 jobs. No dependencies, with nightlights as well (since Maxie's is open at all hours). If you want to plop these, I recommend searching for Buggi's Plop Cheat here on the STEX... It's the perfect one-stop shopping experience for when you're feeling lucky and want to play the lottery, as well as when you run out of toilet paper at 3:00 in the morning. Just remember that the clerks don't have the keys to the safe, and stay away from those grayish hotdogs in the display case...enjoy!
