Cutaway Texture Mod 2.0, by CoriBoom and Raymond This new version supersedes the prior one, because this new version has the original mod plus three new styles. ---------------------------------------- This is a terrain cutaway mod in HD resolution (1024x1024) and Normal resolution(256x256) textures. It replaces that default cutaway Maxis textures, They can be used with standard definition terrain mods as well. Many thanks to Cori and CB !! @CorinaMarie @Cyclone Boom, I still remembered when that little newbie cautiously asked the help from Cori couple of months ago, How generous help he got. I still remembered after the first version, A gentleman knocked on my door and inspired me with his kind and beautiful modification. During development of this Mod, I received many good ideas and advices from them, Thank you! Dear CoriBoom !! -- Raymond ---------------------------------------- DEPENDENCIES: There are no dependencies required for this file. ---------------------------------------- INSTALLATION: To install, simply unzip the contents of this file into a folder outside of plugins folder, Then choose one of the DAT file which you prefer and simply drop it into the Plugins folder (Or you can put it in to any directory in Plugins as well). Each Style has a corresponding picture which name is similar to the Style file's name. The textures in the DAT file will be loaded and will overwrite the defaults(Maxis). Note: 1) In order to utilize HD textures you had better rendering in hardware mode, otherwise you may experience a crash to desktop. 2) If you have already installed a cutaway texture include in your terrain MOD or others, you need to make sure My MOD loaded after them. e.g. Put it into prefix 'z___*' or 'z____*' directory. 3) In order to see the changes from region view, unfortunately, you will need to load each city and save it. Thanks. -- Raymond

Short Description: This is a set of car, freight car, and bus traffic blockers for default maxis, SAM, GLR, and RHW routes. They will block one kind of traffic while allowing the other kinds of traffic and pedestrians to pass. This may be useful for creating bus lines, simply reducing traffic, preventing cars from taking a shortcut through settlements, keeping freight cars away from residential zones and so on. Traffic blockers for roads, one-way roads, avenues, side roads, and railway are already existing on the STEX, but not for SAM and RHW routes, so I thought they might be useful. I've tried to keep them as inconspicuous as possible (so not to disrupt the look of your city); therefore the screenshots won't be spectacular. The screenshot below shows a small city where buses and pedestrians are taking the SAM 2 Herringbone Street to get to work, while cars are forced to take a detour. There are traffic blockers for the subsequently mentioned traffic routes: Maxis routes: road, street, avenue, one-way road SAM streets: 2-11 RHW routes: RHW-2, RHW-4, RHW-6, RHW-8, RHW-10, MIS GLR: Tram-on-Road (only with concrete pavement in the center), Tram-on-Avenue, Tram-on-Street For further information, please refer to the readme in the download. Note: If you have downloaded this between April 15th, 2020, and June 16th, 2020, please remove the file TBS_Textures.dat, since it has become obsolete with the release of the 11241036 Textures. Please download this dependency package instead. Dependencies: SFBT Essentials https://www.sc4evermore.com/index.php/downloads/download/22-dependencies/13-sfbt-essentials MGB Texture Pack https://www.sc4evermore.com/index.php/downloads/download/22-dependencies/90-mgb204-texture-pack Network Addon Mod Version 37.0 or newer http://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/26793-network-addon-mod-for-windows-installer-offsite 11241036 Textures SC4Fix: Third-party patches for SC4 Not really required, but it resolves that nasty crash-to-desktop bug occurring whenever you hover with a puzzle piece over a transit-enabled lot. Currently available languages: English, German Installation: Download the archive and extract all files to a folder where you will find them. Move or copy this folder into your Plugins sub-folder of your edition of SimCity 4 (for instance: C:/Programs/Maxis/SimCity 4/Plugins). To uninstall, please bulldoze all instances of this plugin in your cities, then remove all of its files from your Plugins subfolder. Note, if you have versions prior to version 3 installed: Please remove it before installing the new plugin. You don’t need to bulldoze your already existing traffic stops, and nothing will change in-game. However, to tidy up this plugin, I’ve reorganized the files and packed them into one big file. You’ll have them twice if you simply copy this plugin into your plugin folder. Extra note: For people using my Cobblestone Street Override mod, I’ve added the extra file z_TBS SAM 8 Override.dat, which will alter the base texture to a cobblestone texture. Remove this file if you don’t want this (see screenshots). Compatibility: Since this plugin requires installation of the Network Addon Mod, it is only compatible with SimCity 4: Rush Hour, or SimCity Deluxe. Credits: The Network Addon Mod Team for the textures of the routes odrzutowiec for the idea of introducing the GLR traffic blockers Support: Please feel free to post issues, bug reports, and suggestions in this thread: To be done: Also, I'd appreciate if someone could explain me how to make Menu Management Lots. Although traffic blockers are sometimes helpful, we probably won't use them everyday, and therefore you may probably want to save space in your game menu. If I'm getting enough requests, I may include other traffic blockers in later updates.

First of all, the Kudos - to Voltaire and Ace Bovenopdeberg for creating the fantastic airport props. And to SimcityFuturist, who came up with the (brilliant) idea to turn some of them into a large Bus Terminal. Now for myself I wanted the terminal more modular (my pet peeve ;-) and also better fitting into a more suburban setting, as the current design rather has a strong 'inner city' feel to it. So here is my re-lot of SimcityFuturist's Regional Bus Terminal - with a few additional wrinkles... ;-) LIST OF ITEMS * 14x5 - main Bus Terminal * 14x2 - Bus Parking (large) * 7x2 - Bus Parking (small) See Dev Notes below for more details. DEPENDENCIES * BLaM Blank - this is essential to avoid brown boxes wich were reported into this topic. - added by Tyberius06 * ACB VLT Terminals and Jets Series 1 part 2 See Readme/Installation Guide for a comprehensive list of needed models! - These models and desc were merged and superseeded by the below listed AC Mega Props 2 and 3. You need to run the installer of those and you can keep the files on their originally provided location. - added by Tyberius06 * AC MEGA Props Vol02 - added by Tyberius06 * AC MEGA Props Vol03 - added by Tyberius06 * Bus Prop Pack 1 by Glenni The rest are my usual suspects - * SHK Parking Pack * Paeng Texture Pack v104 * SG 01 Megapack * Porkie Props Vol 01 * Murimk Props Vol02 UPDATES: 1) It was suggested to raise the capacity to 35.000 to be more compatible with NAM values (new: v1.1). 2) Better texture for pedestrian crossing added (new: v1.2) DEVELOPER NOTES Once you installed the ACB VLT Pack, you'll have a huge chunk (20Mb) of models, props and lots in you plugins - but use barely 10% of them (unless you build those airports as well)... See the included Installation Guide (PDF) with a precise listing of the needed items. You'll be able to reduce that complex bundle to a tight 2Mb and free your menus from any items you do not use! So what else is different in this pack? * Smaller footprint - the lot has been resized to 14x5 (before: 14x9). * Modular - instead is has now separate Bus Parking (14x2 or 7x2) for more flexible layouts; in tight spots you could even skip them, e.g. to replace them with underground parking or similar. * More Capacity - the terminal now has a capacity of 35.000 (before: 1.000), so there should be no more traffic jams. Note: Capacity was raised in v1.1 * Added COM Boost - it also gives a slight boost to nearby COM. * Added Jobs - the additional Bus Parking has no traffic switches, but generates some jobs (80 or 40 CS$$). Naturally, you can also use the Bus Parking strips as standalone items (without the Terminal). If you do so, plop any Bus Stop(s) of your choice to provide traffic switching capabilities. * Mac Capacity Bug - fixed in this version. * Complete re-lot - to match the new footprint. Gives it a less 'inner city' feeling, so it's also suitable for more suburban areas. * Reduced dependencies - you can skip the SimFox Trees, BSC MEGA Props CP Vol01, BSC MEGA Props CP Vol02, VIP CarPack vol1... even the NAM is not mandatory any more. Big deal, you might say - but hey, less dependencies always feels safer - after all, we never know what the guy next door uses (or not)... ;-) * MMP friendly occupant sizes - to add more trees and greenery, just use any from your own arsenal of MMPs. You find all items at or near the end of the 'Transportation | Miscellaneous' menu. INSTALLATION Unzip the whole bundle into "(My )Documents/Plugins". To uninstall, bulldoze any instance of this lot in your city, then remove the file(s) from your Plugins. CREDITS Thanks to the folks at simpeg.com for valuable feedback! :-) SUPPORT Should you need support for these items please visit the Paeng Production Forum Enjoy! -Cori Edit: Added missing Murimk Props Vol02 dependency linky and tidied up the formatting a little bit. - Tyberius06 edit on 23.10.2018 - updated dependency links with the missing and essential blank building.

The ancient theatre (the teatro greco, or "Greek theatre") is built for the most part of brick, and is therefore probably of Roman date, though the plan and arrangement are in accordance with those of Greek, rather than Roman, theatres; whence it is supposed that the present structure was rebuilt upon the foundations of an older theatre of the Greek period. With a diameter of 120 metres (390 ft) (after an expansion in the 2nd century), this theatre is the second largest of its kind in Sicily (after that of Syracuse); it is frequently used for operatic and theatrical performances and for concerts. The greater part of the original seats have disappeared, but the wall which surrounded the whole cavea is preserved, and the proscenium with the back wall of the scena and its appendages, of which only traces remain in most ancient theatres, are here preserved in singular integrity, and contribute much to the picturesque effect, as well as to the interest, of the ruin. From the fragments of architectural decorations still extant we learn that it was of the Corinthian order, and richly ornamented. Some portions of a temple are also visible, converted into the church of San Pancrazio, but the edifice is of small size.

4x4 Lot The Piazza del Duomo is the main square of the city of Catania. It takes its name from the Duomo di Catania or Cathedral of Saint Agatha which stands on the east side of the square. It was originally constructed in 1078-1093, on the ruins of the ancient Roman Achillean Baths. Access to the baths is by a short staircase left of the Cathedral. After an earthquake in 1693, Giovanni Battista Vaccarini designed a new Baroque façade in 1711. Three streets enter the square: the via Etnea, the historical city axis; the via Giuseppe Garibaldi, and the via Vittorio Emanuele II that crosses it from east to west. On the eastern side of the square stands the Duomo, dedicated to Saint Agatha, patron saint of the city, whose feast is celebrated on 5 February. On the north side is the palazzo degli Elefanti or the Town Hall. In front of this building stands a fountain designed by Vaccarini, consisting of an obelisk on the back of the elephant u Liotru, the (symbol of Catania). On the other side of the square, there is the Amenano fountain, in front of the Palazzo dei Chierici. Between the Palazzo dei Chierici and the Cathedral is the Porta Uzeda. From the terraces you can admire two splendid panoramas: on one side, the spectacle of Piazza del Duomo in Catania with the Elephant fountain and Via Etnea with Mount Etna in the background; on the other, the walls of Charles V, the port of Catania with the arches of the Marina up to the Ursino castle. The door of Charles V is part of the only remaining part of the city walls. Access to the baths by accessing the Diocesan Museum of Catania: a barrel-vaulted corridor built into the gap between the Roman structures and the foundations of the cathedral (whose access consists of a short flight of steps at different times to the left of the façade) allows to take a trip into the bowels of the city, where the Amenano river flows, whose waters rise to the surface in the nearby Amenano fountain in the square in front. The name of the plant is deduced from an inscription on a marble slab of the Lunense area reduced to six very fragmented main fragments, probably dating back to the first half of the 5th century, now exhibited in the Civic Museum at Castello Ursino.

Llanddwyn Lighthouse, by Raymond ---------------------------------------- Llanddwyn Lighthouse is located on the Isle of Anglesey in Wales, and was built in the mid-19th century. It was operational until 1975 when the lighthouse was decommissioned. Today it still stands no longer in use, but is preserved as a historical heritage building with public access. Therefore it does not have a rotating light beacon on top. I have made Llanddwyn Lighthouse as a ploppable building, featuring both Landmark and Park Effects. Many thanks to Cori and CB and Matt !! @CorinaMarie @Cyclone Boom @mattb325 Without their kind guidance, I would've still struggled with issues relevant to its lights. Many thanks to my best friend Steve. He taught me how to make the textures of the wall more realistic. @thecitiescenter -- Raymond ---------------------------------------- LIGHTHOUSE STATS: table, th, td { border:1px solid black; } th, td { padding:5px; } th { text-align:left; } Property Stats Lot size 2x2 Plop Cost §90 Bulldoze Cost §393 Demand Satisfied R§ 1,000, R§§ 1,000, R§§§ 1,000 Pollution None Pollution Radius 0 (Air) / 0 (Water) / 0 (Garbage) / 0 (Radiation) Park Effect 20 over 40 tiles Landmark Effect 110 over 40 tiles Monthly Cost §98 Power Consumed 0 MWh Water Consumed 0 Gal/Month Occupant Group Building: Park ---------------------------------------- NOTE ABOUT DARK NITE vs MAXIS NITE: This building is designed for Maxis Night. ---------------------------------------- DEPENDENCIES: There are no dependencies required for this file. Note: I have made this Lot with no Base Textures so it will be transparent to best match with your terrain. I personally suggest that you flatten a 2x2 area before plopping it, otherwise an ugly base foundation will appear underneath the lighthouse. ---------------------------------------- INSTALLATION: To install, simply unzip the contents of this file into your Plugins folder. It will then be found in your Parks menu. Thanks. -- Raymond

---------------------------------------------- AndisArt presents: Avenue Roundabouts Megapack ---------------------------------------------------------------- This download adds 25 new avenue roundabouts for the Network Addon Mod (NAM) and represents in parts real world roundabout suggestions of the ST community. In the download section you can choose between DarkNite (requires SimFox Day and Nite Modd) or the standard Maxis night, as well as between righthand-driving (standard) or lefthand-driving. IMPORTANT: you can only use ONE version at a time (DarkNite or Maxis night). ---------------------------------------------------------------- There are two ways how to place these roundabouts: - they are automatically showing up in a random fashion when you place a NAM avenue roundabout (with this method nightlights do NOT work) - a single ploppable lot found in the parks menu with a prop family, meaning everytime you place the lot a roundabout is displayed randomly (nightlights ARE working here) The mod is designed so you can easily pick and choose which roundabouts of the pack you want to use / get displayed (works for both of the above methods): The index screenshots show the numbers/names of the roundabouts, just delete the corresponding files for the ones you don't wish to use from these folders: - The folder "T21" is for the automatically showing ones when placing an avenue roundabout. - The folder "Prop" is for the ploppable lot with prop family. If you want to place a specific lot just temporarily delete all other files from the above mentioned folder and only leave the one you want to place, place the ploppable lot in game and it will show up. You can then safely undelete the otther files again to reintroduce them to the game. It is perfectly save to do so. IMPORTANT: by default this mod disables the standard NAM avenue roundabout filler lots. If you don't want this then delete the following file from the T21 folder: AndisArt_Roundabout-T21_NoNAMDefault.dat --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Installation: Extract the whole folder and copy it to your SimCity 4 Plugins folder (usually MyDocuments/SimCity 4/Plugins). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Credits: Special thanks to @rsc204 for helping with the modding and organisation of the project! Thanks to everyone participating in my BAT thread during the suggestion period for roundabout designs.

This is a Inner City Junkyard. It is a NIMBY type group of lots that behave as 2 or more Recycling Centers. The Junkyard is expandable by repeating the center #2 section. The smallest version of the Junkyard can be created by using only the #1 and #3 sections. The #1 section is transit enabled for street and the #3 section is transit enabled for rail traffic (passenger and freight). Although the game's original Recycling Center is pretty, it does not answer the question of where the Sims old unwanted junk cars and appliances go. This modular series of lots answers that question with an eye to realism. This lot is an unattractive eyesore, perfect for those inner city industrial areas. An Automobile Shredder add-on for this main set is also available to download here. Whad ya spect?, another park? Ploppable Version for each Lot Section Lot size: 8 x 4 tiles Menu position: Utility, Landfill, Recycle Jobs: Provides 18 R$ jobs and none for R$$ or R$$$. Plop cost: $5,000 Bulldoze cost: $450 Monthly cost: $350 (per section) Park effect: -20 over 10 tiles Landmark effect: -20 over 20 tiles Max. Fire Stage: 77 Power consumption: 9/3/3 MWh/month Water consumption: 75/10/10 Gallons/month Air pollution: 4 over 3 tiles Water pollution: 5 over 4 tiles Garbage pollution: 0 over 0 tiles Compatibility This download is only compatible with SimCity 4 Deluxe or Rush Hour. Dependencies To ensure the proper functionality, make sure the files mentioned below are installed in the plugins folder: Gizmo's Vehicle Props V3 (This archive contains 4 DAT files. 2 nice wrecked cargo ships that you can plop in the water. They can be useful for CJs and screenshots. They are placed im the landmaks menu and are ploppable in the water (of course). I advice you to use these ships with gizmo's Water Flora Mod -NO dependencies-
