2 Years Later

And we're back! 2 years almost now since I made a sincere attempt at recreating my home town. And I am determined to actually finish this time! Anyone familiar with the area knows all of our roads are under construction at that moment, but the roads layout I've chosen will pick and choose which versions of our highways you all get to see. cities skylines Reset

So I may have broken the game again. But I took the opportunity to just unsubscribe from everything and start from scratch. This build already has worked out much better than previous attempts. As you can tell, most of the map is desolate. But I do have a little bit to show: The end of where the Old Spanish Trail (US 90) is marked in downtown. The Crockett Street Entertainment District. The Jefferson Theatre. Hopefully by the end of the week I'll have some decent progress to show.

After completely breaking my game and miraculously stabilizing it, I've lately been motivated to recreate my hometown. Beaumont is the regional hub of Southeast Texas and the center of the Beaumont-Port Arthur Metropolitan Area. The city is home to a downtown filled with historic buildings (that itself is listed as a U.S. Historic District), a major University, the 4th busiest port in the United States, and around 120,000 people.
