Cantondale explodes

Our last visit in Cantondale was full of rain. This wet spell of weather provided a large bountiful harvest. When food prices fell, the population boomed. While exploring Potsdam, Cantondale is no longer a small farming village.

Cantondale's residential area has expanded, the wealthy prefer not to live directly next to the farm.

Neighboring farms are starting to feel pressure from the expanding village center.

Farmers find it lucrative to sell their property for new developments.

The farmers who own the land around the pond choose to develope the land themselves and build homes for themself.

New houses spring up quickly, everyone wants to live near the water.

Construction on the next expansion has begun.

The residential expansion continues.

More sims want to live near the pond.

Sims are now building their homes on the side of the hill.

The commercial center of the village has been expanding with the increasing population.

With all the realistate bought up around the pond, the wealthy choose to build their homes up the hillside.

The village is rapidly expanding into a town.

The commercial district continues to expand.

Cantondale is finnaly connected with Potsdam by rail. With the rail station, the town constructs the town hall.

With the rail station and the town hall, companies are fighting over neighboring land.

Now Cantondale has two distinct commercial sectors.

Developers begin to eye the vast area of land the mayor's complex for the next residential and commercial expansion.
With the influx of business and residents, the town's coffers have a large surplus, the town council is now fighting over how to spend the surplus. Are there any consultants who wish to weigh in?
