Experimental Industrial City

Entry 27: Experimental Industrial City

Thanks Dead_End for your comment- it's a very good mid-sized railway station to use.

Now, this is a smaller project I have occasionally been working on and I do like to experiment and try out different combinations and different ideas.

Simmer2's industrial lots are quite amazing!

Using C.P.'s Early Nineteenth Century R$ Houses. They can in 1x1, 1x3, 2x2 and 3x3 lot sizes- very useful housing fillers!

When I do come back to this city I'm going to explore the ways of using MMPs to spruce up the area below the power lines.

Bipin's industrial roads are always amazing and very realistic! Bipin- if you ever come back to SC4, if you ever create a diagonal version and curve concrete roads, that would be amazing!

More of C.P.'s R$ housing to the left, but this time 1x1.

In case you're wondering, the power station (the large factory building) can be found here- https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=3360.

It's the railyard that it is really amazing!

This is a medium-sized city tile, so when I do finish it off then it will be quick work!

This Saturday the CJ returns to Pololomia and to a very nice suburban area called Chester.

See you then and thanks for your comments and appreciation!

Been playing this game a long time(on & off) but I always feel like there something new I can learn from looking at your cities. In this case the transition from industrial to suburban and rural areas and how seamless they are.

It's seamless because I'm pretty OCD with the layout and what should go into transitions, throw in all the experimentation and then compulsively sticking to one style. A new feature of mine is adding MMP dirt to the farm fields so they have proper perimeters and edges, it works best with fences where there can be more dirt (wider) or a little bit of dirt showing.

When I do go back to playing SC4 I will be continuing with the experimentations and probably finding new combinations for using MMPs, lots and buildings.
