Pawprint Lake

The Wirdleplex: Pawprint Lake
Welcome to Pawprint Lake! This lovely settlement sits on the largest lake in southeastern Schulmania. The lake earned its name for its uncanny resemblance to a pawprint. The Wirdleplex has been in dire need of recreational facilities. And the Bureau of Feline Affairs has decided to meet this need with a vacation getaway featuring great fishing and good times. The city is served by road connection to New Wirt and Glenvar. And it is the pride and joy of the Town Administrator, Sir Edward Scissorpaws. There’s more to like than just the luxurious accommodations and great views – fine dining and great activities are all close by and ready to serve guests. Come, let’s see the town!

The town sits along the north shore of the lake, which is the source for the Little Wirdleonia River. Inexplicably, city planners added a canal along the northern boundary of town. The most likely explanation is that they wanted a place for paddleboats and fishing from one’s chaise lounge.

The Lodge at Pawprint Lake is the premier destination for vacationers and sits next to the canal, right where the paddleboats dock. Rentals are only 2 purrs per day.

A popular past time is to fish from the paddleboats. The canal is stocked with a variety of stinky fish that cats love. And they are all bred to be extra tempted by worms with hooks in them. At Pawprint Lake, they’re always biting!

Welcome to The Lodge at Pawprint Lake!

Every room in the lodge is a luxury suite. Why not book a stay here today?
Let’s take a stroll around town and see the sights. There’s the canal…

And of course the retail and service facilities one would expect in such a great destination…

The Colonnade Shopping Center
You can see a lot from the top of the Campanile.

There’s quite a few steps to the top. But, the view is worth it.

An impressive view of the town

And now let’s end our journey at Big Ed’s. Big Ed’s Restaurant is the most sought-after destination for fine dining in the southern Wirdleplex. Celebrity chef Ed Marinara creates some great dishes cats love, such as sardine pizza a la tuna, Fancy Feast brisket, and everyone’s favorite salmon marzipan. Of course, they have homemade desserts as well. Yummy!
