The Hunt Is On

The Hunt is On
In southern Harar the big game migration from the colder mountains for the winter offers our furry feline friends the opportunity for some great hunting. And the exotic beats of this untamed land are a major draw for hungry felines looking for food. Harar exports meats to Schulmania as well as providing an ample supply for its carnivorous citizens. The variety is outstanding here; mice are nice, but here, herd is the word! And today we see a herd of Harar elephants (Elephantus maxiscus) crossing the hills. There’s also plenty of galloping giraffes (girafficus toysrus) and tasty rhinos (rhinoceros stampedious) and a plethora of white tailed deer (venison bambii). With so many meaty prey animals at the ready, it’s like an open air rodizio!

Hungry yet? Let’s head to the grassy hills of southeastern Harar and see who’s on the menu tonight!

I’m sure you have “herd” of the Harar elephant before… it is a great traveler, as it always has its trunk ready to go!

Thanks to Google I have just found out that a group of giraffes, such as those seen above, are called a “tower”. I know they’re tall and all, but that’s kinda weird. I wonder who decided that term…

The giraffes seem to be heading the opposite way from everyone else. Are they smart, or are they headed into a trap?

Today’s dinner is nearly ready… our feline friends have sneaked in extra close due to their super stealth…

It’s time to start the hunt!

Giraffe burgers are on the menu tonight!

A pounce and a miss! How embarrassing!

But team work makes the dream work!

Now I did not alter this in-game picture, but it actually looks like the animals are kicking up dust as they move. As Miley Cyrus would say, “Pretty cool!”

You can run, but you can’t hide!

One on one versus a giraffe and a one on one against a rhino… these kitties are tough!

The prey has made a strategic error. Guess where they are being driven?

Driven to the shore, there is no escape…

Time for a big, big meal!
