Hi, 9988. Always exciting to see an author with 2 CJs in the chart.

Hi, emperordaniel. See above comment :)

Hi, 111222333444. Thanks for stopping by, good to see you back last time.

Hi, escilnavia. Another author with 2 CJs in there... could be a record to have 3 of you in one week.

Hi, sim_link. Yes, you're now in a small group that has the same CJ on both charts.

Hi, NUMSpidey. Thanks for stopping by.

Ben's Top Ten

31 Dec 2011

It's the end of the year for BTT, so it's time to show off the Top One Hundred (+1 since there is a tie at number 100). We're going to start today with numbers 81-100.

1 Jan 2012

Happy New Year, everyone!

Today we're looking at numbers 61-80. The highest CJ on the Top 100+1 that never quite made it into the Top Ten, but hovered in the +10, is Buenos Aires.

Check back every day for an update.

Enjoy!

2 Jan 2012

Another 20 CJs today, including the first of 16 different number ones last year: The City of Elveng.

3 Jan 2012

Numbers 21-40 today. There are 5 number ones from the year: Harar, Sandalwood County, Schellingen Stadt, Selbring County and The Sultanate of Kalu Sabah.

4 Jan 2012

For those of you expecting the full top 20, you'll have to wait another day. The CJs in positions 11-20 that were former number ones are Republic of Insulo and Okatabawashi.

Enjoy!

5 Jan 2012

The day has finally arrived! You've seen half of the former number ones already, the other 8 are in the top ten! It was actually quite close between the top three, but congratulations goes to Tenements & Rust - spending 14 weeks at number one, including 13 weeks in a row! Dragon islands Cities is a close number 2. Other number ones: Journey through Paengia at 4, Royal Gansbaai Kingdoms at 5, Hong Kong 2.0 at 6, Republic of Llithustania at 7, Auburn at 9, and Slovakia at 10. Special mention to Schulmania, the highest ranking CJ for one that hasn't hit number one. Another special mention for TowerDude - most CJs on the list!

Up next: the first BTT of 2012.

The density of T&R pics (thus BTT's #1) has seriously decreased since January; at the same time, my busy time has seriously increased since January... Wait, there's a pattern here!

Not to talk about the CJs quality this year, it has been so tough to be in the Top Ten!

Hi, escilnavia. Well done... and we'll be seeing more from you later.

Hi, TekindusT. Yes, you did have a hold on the top slot for a very long time - not just January, but also February and March!

Hi, 9988. Thanks for your comment!

Hi, hahei. Hope your flight was on time.

Hi, NMUSpidey. Stay tuned for the next few days to see what happens as we count them down.

Congrats to everyone on the list so far, I'm very happy with my spot and although I haven't had as much time as I would like to look at other CJ's, I have really enjoyed the high level of quality this year.

Ah, I see, I made it to #75 with my infrequently-updated Port Matthew cj! I'm happy to see so many really great cjs on this list, too. It's fun to see, great thinking Benedict!

Hi, 9988: Thanks for commenting.

Hi, escilnavia: I didn't realize you could change the publication date - thanks for the tip. On the regular BTT as well as the 100+1 the yellow star means the CJ was number one at some point last year.

Hi, Ion_Cannon: I'm glad you like your spot - and I agree, some outstanding quality last year.

Hi, NMUSpidey: Nice to see you're enjoying it.

Hi, 111222333444: Yes, both of your CJs made quite a few appearances on BTT+10.

Hi, blunder: Thanks - it wasn't too bad, I kept track all year long.

Hi, emperordaniel: Frith Ra!

There are some big heavyweights in the 20 - 40 places!

EDIT: The whole Top 100 list is a great recap when thinking who and why nominate someone for a Trixie, my memory is quite limited and this list helps a lot!
