Okay, after Rivershade's quiet gentility, it's back into brute industrials... looking at where all the wood goes that's being cut down all over Mountainview region...

We enter Almira from the east side with its main passenger- and freight stations...

Excellent update! And it's interesting to read about your plugin management system 8)
Just one question regarding 3rd picture: how did those trucks got in the middle of the train tracks? I don't see any driveway for them. Or is it behind the orange pickup? In that case, it would be difficult to make the turn..

Yeah, I screwed up there... (or rather forgot about it)... normally there is a connection to a logging road (the empty logging truck and the coal truck sit on the driveways)... but in this scene I layed more parallel rail-tracks and forgot to drop the logging road crossings on them (because there is no logging road)...

I must really make me some more freight station layouts... :ohyes:

I also have an old machine running xp sp3 but my medium and large tiles work fine. Looks like you'd enjoy a new computer hey! Anyway I know it's not your style but can you maybe do an update on a big city or maybe consider a rural highway system? I'd like to see your skills in that area too! Maybe you could create a green city of sorts or so,etching with many bike paths and trails?

Yeah, maybe.... If I survive the preceding weeks of setting up a new system... which is not my favorite pastime ;-) Based on the old adage 'Never Change A Running System' I'll drive this one until it melts back into the matrix... then I worry about something new (and hope that by then there are enough servicepacks to start off with a halfway stable system again)... :boggle:

Sorry, but not very likely... once in a while I catch the bug and do some highrises, but generally they don't much appeal to me... same with highways of any kind... I much more enjoy exploring the rural/nature aspects of the game - which largely had to be "invented" by custom content creators, for which I'm ever grateful... :ohyes:
