Farmer Bob's Place

13. Farmer Bob's
-stay off his lawn. Trespassers will be shot. Survivors will be shot again.
Area: Crater Lake
Tile: Flattop Hill
Welcome back for another update! You'll notice that I've whipped up some fancy shmancy banners and consequently the replies have moved to the bottom of the post.
If you remember on the last update there was a clearing on the right side of the tile. This is a ranch owned by farmer Bob and his family. It occupies part of the valley below flattop hill. That means most of the people in town can watch the reclusive farmer Bob. He hates that.
1. Overview of the ranch.

2. Over a couple generations the farm has had several outbuildings grow up around the farmhouse.

3. Farmer Bob's house is built next to the only hot springs near Flattop Hill. This is why the townspeople watch farmer Bob; the rare occasions the crotchety old bastard is out of town are the only time they can come down and use it without getting shot at.

4. The old stone fence built generations ago on the north side of the house near the springs may be crumbling, but a new wooden fence has gone up around the rest of the farm. And there's some bushes and greenhouses and stuff too.

5. Props on the farm.

6. Some of the vegetation in the fields in spring.

7. And in fall.

(scroll back and forth between those two pictures: you know you want to)
8. Along the driveway in fall.

9. And finally the farm again, this time surrounded by some fall colors.

Next up: Golden Hill, (which is really just a large test of seasonal flora).
Thanks for stopping by. Feel free to rate/+1/and leave your thoughts in the comments. I hope you enjoyed your stay and look forward to seeing you again.

@Zulu2065: Thanks! I hope you come back soon.
@canadiansim: That church is by Krio over at simpeg. His stuff can be found on Paeng's site.
@schulmanator: Thank you sir!
@NMUSpidey: As you can tell, farmer bob is in fact a total jerk.
@pielover94: Thanks for the comment.
@bwong: Thanks, the farms are part of the SPAM, although you can alter the shapes of your farms with the zoning tool. They don't have to be rectangles.
@ludde09: Yes, that is my own modified version of cycledogg's CPT olympic tree controller.
@Mikeaut1: Thanks. I'm glad you liked it.
