The evil nation of Queensferry has sunk to a new low in their vicious attacks on Schulmania. Their latest attempt to sow indiscriminate destruction is the placement of disguised explosives in populated areas. [To see the evil plan, click >>HERE<<]. As noted on Page 225 of Volume 2 of Schulmania (“Free Food Appears”), mysterious cans of tempting aromas started appearing around the nation.
Now, Admiral Hestorb and many of the military leaders were very cautious and wanted to avoid the dreaded “Larson Maneuver” they learned about in the academy.
But, the tempting aromas just kept coming… and coming…and coming. Eventually, someone was going to do the unwise thing and open one of the cans… after all, dinner’s got to get on the table somehow!
Atkinos District Governor Cawale was strolling the Via Balenarossa, the main street in the district capital of Gran Maru, when she happened upon one of the cans by the theater. And it just so happened that she had spotted one of the new billboards for a tasty treat and was definitely feeling hungry.
Seriously, could you resist eating after seeing this advertisement? OF COURSE NOT! And of course neither could the governor. As she strolled, she caught the wafting scent of meaty goodness. That, coupled with the convincing new billboard just across the square, pushed Cawale toward the mysterious can of food. Was that tuna? It HAD to be! It was irresistible! She went over to the can and lifted the lid…
A giant blast filled the square, injuring dozens of Schulminions. Governor Cawale and nearly 70 others were rushed to the nearby hospital.
City Mayor Zack Camaro was at the Finance Center and raced outside to see flaming debris raining down over the area.
He immediately dispatched Tactical Response Team members to the area and sent word to Admiral Hestorb about the bombs. Afterwards, he went by the hospital to see the governor.
The governor was resting in her hospital room. She sustained injuries to three paws, breaking the one she used to open the lid. She will have a cast on it for several weeks. And, since she can’t catch her own food, she is stuck eating kibble until her recovery is complete. But, her prognosis is good and a full recovery is expected.
