Walkabout

East Atkinos: Walkabout
Now that we have been oriented to the new town of Nikonia, let’s take a stroll to see what else is in this exciting destination nestled along the western edge of the Woods of Wayne. While you are walking about, check your pockets – the Grand Duke has already authorized a mint for Nikonia and its new coins may just be found in your change.

By City Hall one can find Wirtminster Abbey

And behind the church, the Bureau of Feline Affairs Office for the Middle Atkinos area

Of course the town’s signature center city park is nearby. It spans the entire town from east to west. Here, we see the eastern terminus near City Hall.

A congregation of pigeons on the pedestrian bridge have been leaving presents on the passing wagons… the mayor is looking for citizens to heed his call to come catch these pesky critters. Anyone ready to pounce?

We can stop by Michener Pond. Here, avid readers gather to enjoy the sun and read really, really, really long books.

FYI, there isn’t really a big arrow showing where the districts of New and East Atkinos meet. Just pretend like you didn’t see that.

Work up a hunger yet? Why not sidle down to the Restaurant District? The highest concentration of good eateries this side of Robinia is right here in just a few short blocks.

One of the first blue buildings in the nation, George’s Baby Blue Bistro is known not just for its strikingly blue façade but also its strikingly good food. Today’s specials: sizzling fajitas sin guacamole con salsa or perhaps the wild game rodizio. And don’t forget the heavenly desserts!

Why not work off the post meal torpor with some retail therapy?

College students head over to Vol-Halla Mall. In case you didn’t know, Volhalla is like Valhalla but orange and covered up with Power T’s.

You might run out of money with this many options!

Speaking of which… mind if I borrow a few schulmonetas? I am running a little short.

Once we are well laden down with goodies, we can stop by the local school and give toys to all of the good kittens
