Chapter 4-Downtown growth<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice />

 

Well with the convention center and the tower, along with the nicely terraformed land, the downtown has sprung up in no time flat.

As you can see, he put in several bus/subway stops, with the subway still non-functional, but it is planned to be put into use at some point in time, when the city can better afford it.  So far the downtown is only mid-density, but that

Where did you get that terrain mod? The one that makes the ground look different in different places, looks like due to elevation. It makes it look so realistic. We need more of it in SC4. Great CJ by the way!

Chapter 6-letter to mayor<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice />

 

Dear mayor SC4,

 

It has come to our attention that there is a large amount of residential demand, and understandably so, you have done an excellent job with our fair city.  It has also come to our attention that you are planning several large zoning projects.  While we are all for the growth of the city we are seeing some problems that are or will soon arise if they are not addressed.  The first of these problems is a lack of bus/subway stops, as our city expands; the people get farther and farther away from their jobs.  We would like to suggest the placing of bus/subway stops, as well as some park and ride parking lots to encourage mass transit use, as this will be a much faster and economically better solution to driving.  The second thing we would like to address is a growing need for more nearby parks, while the few large parks do serve their purpose well; they are a long ways away from many of the proposed new development areas.  We suggest the placing of several small parks in the proposed neighborhoods, as this will allow easier access as well as help take traffic off the streets as kids can bike or even walk to the park instead of having to be driven by their parents.  We hope that you will take our advice in this matter.

*Blows dust off CJ*  *nearly chokes to death*  OK, OK, I gave in, I wasn't going to update, but seeing as how I have a few loyal fans, (that's a hint ppl) I have decided to start updating again!  Whooo!  I'm not sure how much I'll update, but I'll try to do once every other week or once a week at least.  So...off we go, for the first time in ages, first off, I'd like to show off a new banner made by BourneID.(thanks man)

So after receiving that letter, the mayor, always wanting to keep people happy, set out to do what was recommended.  He did so very well, perhaps a bit too well, as the budget is currently in the red

Well although downtown is not even close to being filled up, an expansion is planned.  Mayor SC4 is hoping that businesses will take the hint and move in.
