Emerald Coast - my first CJ

       This CJ was formerly known as Fairvill

 

 

 

 

Here we have the city of cheatsvill.

While this once was a prosperous and wealthy city, it has been taken over by the evil Dr.Vu. After kicking out the priveous mayor Dr.Vu put his trainee Mayor Cheat in command. In return for giving him power over the city Mayor Cheat gave Dr.Vu the convention center as his HQ he also gave him access to the airport which he had taken over for his own personal use. After reciving hundreds of complaints the powerfull SC4 meister told Mayor Cheat that he had three days to leave. When he did not leave SC4 sent them several earthquakes after which all of the residents fled the city. Mayor Cheat responded by calling Dr.Vu, who then started moving his UFOs into the city to keep SC4 from focing them to leave.

SC4 meister after seeing that there was nobody left in the city decided to wipe out the city and start over with a new mayor. He proceded accordingly. His first target was Mayor Cheats personal airport...

When they still refused to leave he started to demolish everything and anything...

After all the dust settled the two of them were nowhere to be found, but at least they were gone.

After seeing that Mayor Cheat had left in a bit of a rush (I wonder why) SC4 meister drained his bank account and gave all the money to the city. He now appointed Mayor Straightshooter to recreate the city. The first thing he set out to do was to remove the rubble from demolished buildings.

Mayor S. now went to work on the utilities. The first step was power, after considering his options, the towns large amount of cash, and its new landforms he chose to build a pair of delta turbine generators. The new gerators have a bonus of being long lasting and having polution removing filters. However they were not cheap, $100,000 each.

He now went to work on putting the transportation network back together. However, after many of the workers complained about having to wade through knee deep garbage to get to the work site Mayor S. put in a new garbage disposal site.

He chose this one for its low polution and low monthly cost. He now went back to work on the transportation network...

 

Sorry again for the lack of updates and the small update. I am still working on this but my time is scarce right now so it may be awhile before the next update.

Hi guys, thank you very much for commenting I was almost ready to give up on this one. I have been having several problems with game bugs, which has been taking up a ton of my time. I think I have them resolved now, but I am going to have to use money and garbage cheats for the remainder of this city. I am almost done with the next update so stay tunned.

First of all a big thank you to all of you who have commented on this CJ you have kept this one alive. So here is update #3.

Here is an updated city pic. In this we will be visiting several places, if I miss anything that you want to see just ask and I will try to get you a pic.

The first place we will visit in on is the southwest side of town. Mayor S. is planning to make this the center of poulation for the city. With that in mind he put in several upgrades and civil buildings to boost the desirability of the area. BTW I have yet to come up with a name for this part of town, suggestions are welcome.

Our next stop is Old town. What was once a thriving part of the high wealth residential community, is now what those who live on Rich Hill call an eyesore. Although the buildings look abandoned they are mostly a bunch of R$$$ turned R$.

It is thought by some that the only reason it is alive at all is because two of the important surviving buildings are located here.

So in a last ditch effort to keep this small suviving part of town alive Mayor S. had The Cyclone built nearby. However so far this has had little or no effect on this part of town.

In writing this and naming stuff I had an idea so I will have to go back into the game and change a few things and hopefully update within the next couple of hours. If I do not update today I will try to on the morrow.  All comments, good or bad, are welcome.

While Mayor S. was writing in his CJ he heard a knock on his door durn interruptions how am I ever oing to get this thing updated? At the door was the famed ILL Tonkso. After seeing who it as Mayor S. being a huge fan of his BATs er I mean buidings invited him in How are you today Mr.Tonkso? Quite fine thank you. Mayor I rode the ferry into your city today, and I must say that you have improved the state of this city quite a lot. Your ferrys and ferry ports however look horrible! Mayor S. gulps and says I know I have been planning to clean them up soon Oh. No they are in ok condition but they are sooo old and outdated! Yes they are but what else is there? Well I have just finished a new modern ferry port. Alright! how much does it cost? Well they cost less than the old ones however they are in high demand, and are backordered for the next five years. However if you allow me to have my mansion in your city I will throw some weight around and get you a few. Done I have just the spot that Mr.Rich is putting up for sale I will buy it and give it to you in exchange for your ferry ports. Ok sounds great!

Here are the new ferry ports:

ILL's new house(if you can call it that) complete with his own personal forest, as well as being right on the mainstream avenues but far enough back not to have road noise. Also very clsoe by on both sides is the subway-bus stops.

Also within walking distance is Rich Hill's downtown as well as the old stock exchange and radio tower.

While Mayor S. was busy working on ILL's house and all the paperwork involved,one of his crooked advisors forged his sig on a document to put up a new stadum.

 

The new stadium was St. Mary's, home of Southampton's football club.

We first go to The New Downtown.

This is the planned downtown commercial area it is also home to the newly rebuilt university.

Right next to the university is the Planetary Plaza. Offering a view of Earth,Mars, and the moon as if from outer space...

Also near the university are some chep rent rowhouses, and a tennis court to relieve some of the stress of college.

As shown above Mayor S. put in several improvements to The Gateway to welcome people to The New Downtown.

Captain All I am allowed to say is that it is regarding your letter, and that we will be done in less thn 3600 hundred hours Mayor I kinda prefer to know what is going on, but I understand that you do not have a choice.
